Gratton Road är en charmig, välutrustad, två sovrum viktoriansk lägenhet i "byn" i West London Brook Green i Kensington Olympia. Lägenheten har högt i tak, är ljus och luftig och är inredd och utrustad med hög standard. Lägenheten ligger i ett lugnt bostadsområde, på hörnet av Milson Road, en av de mest eftertraktade vägarna i området. Den här egenskapen är en dedikerad, professionellt drivad semesteruthyrningsverksamhet och inte en hyra i någons hem. Även om vi har gjort det extremt hemtrevligt!

Denna rymliga lägenhet har ett stort vardagsrum och separat matplats med plats för upp till sex gäster. Det finns ett välutrustat modernt kök med kyl, frys, diskmaskin, ugn och spis, mikrovågsugn och full kokutrustning. Det finns en widescreen-TV i vardagsrummet med alla freeview-kanaler och DVD. Gratton Road har två välproportionerade sovrum, ett med king size-säng, gjord av den fantastiskt bekväma limpa, och gott om lagringsutrymme, det andra med två enkelsängar som kan fästas. Det finns ett modernt badrum med travertinbeläggning och nytt bad och dusch, och gott om varmt vatten. Handdukar och sängkläder tillhandahålls.

Detta område i Västra London ligger inom räckhåll från Heathrow flygplats (20 minuter med bil eller taxi), hjärtat av uber chic Kensington & Chelsea, Londons härliga Holland och Hyde park och det fantastiska nya köpcentret på Westfield. Det finns många närliggande tunnelbanestationer för åtkomst till centrala London, och en av de bästa gastrobarna i London, Havelock Tavern, såväl som många hyllade restauranger i närheten.

Sehr schöne Wohnung in Top-Lage

Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Nachbarn bemerkt man kaum. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war immer sehr gut. In der Umgebung der Wohnung ist es sehr ruhig. Es sind in dieser und den angrenzenden Straßen viele kleine, süße Reihenhäuser. Der Bahnhof Kensington Olympia ist in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Tesco, Tesco Express) sind in der Nähe.

Comfortable London Stay

Very clean and comfortable in good location, easy access to overground and comfy beds. Would’ve been good to know in advance that there was building work going on which caused some noise early in the morning. Overall, nice place to stay however little changes would’ve made a big difference.

Esperienza con luci e ombre

Prima le cose positive: mai avuto host così professionali (materiali informativi completi alla prenotazione, mail di chevk in etc) e veloci nel rispondere a ogni messaggio. Appartamento con grande potenziale: camere e sala da pranzo molto belli. Buona zona. Le cose (per me) molto negative: un tempo sicuramente è stato un appartamento di " standard elevato" ora non lo è piú e non è corretto descriverlo come tale: tutto quello che c'è in cucina e in bagno è rotto o sta per rompersi, il frigo è letteralmente a un passo dallo sfascio, le veneziane pure, il mobile del bagno poi è impresentabile. Uno degli asciugamani (scuro) aveva enormi chiazze di candeggina, a quel punto è meglio non fornire gli asciugamani. Le lenzuola pure erano più gialle che bianche. La pulizia dello stabile pure non è buona, ma qui l'host non ha colpe, ho visto che ha lasciato molti cartelli, ma sembra che i vicini non siano capaci di disporre la spazzatura nei bidoni. In sostanza, ci tornerei, ma solo se sapessi che è stato fatto un minimo rinnovamento. Cosí come è adesso, nella mia personale opinione, non vale più il prezzo pagato.

Quiet neighborhood with nice restaurants. Close to overground.

Hugo & Liz's place was a perfect location for us go about London. After a very busy and tiring day of sightseeing, it was almost meditative to slowly walk a out of the train station and calm down from the quietness of the area. the apartment has everything you need to feel comfortable. we loved having the space to spread out between the 4 of us and the large kitchen table was the perfect center piece when preparing for the day or coming back home with a hot meal. the tried some of the owner restaurant recommendations and all were excellent! thank you for a fantatistic stay!

The managers were extremely responsive to any needs or questions we had. They provided detailed instructions and wonderful suggestions. The apartment was a wonderful place to rest for weary travelers. We especially loved reading the children's books!

Liked the neighborhood restaurants

Liked the neighborhood feel with very close pubs/restaurants nearby. Check in was easy. Be prepared for a lot of stairs up to the unit. Overall, we thought the apartment was fine, but definitely needed a deep clean in the nooks and crannies, which make a big difference. For example, the bathroom had toothpaste splashes on the faucet and the grout in the shower was moldy. Upon entry from outside the building, there was trash approaching the door, pizza boxes and tortillas on ground. Not the best first impression. Overall, I thought the pictures depicted a place a little different than where we stayed. Everything worked, but I would say it was just fine and would probably stay somewhere else next time.

Fantastic Home Away From Home!

We stayed one month at this cozy, inviting flat. It was immaculate when we arrived. Very comfortable furnishings; great living room space to relax in. There are two bedrooms, both furnished well. The beds are super comfortable; we slept great. The kitchen is small but well-stocked. It is a walk up; no elevator. The apartment itself has a short flight of stairs to the MBR and really does not suit for those with mobility issues. Otherwise it’s great! The location was easy to get to, and in a quiet neighborhood. It’s a good walk to the several different tube stops nearby, but it was not a problem for us at all. Communication with Hugo and his team was great. All queries were answered immediately. Huge even went out of his way to make our flat ready a day early when a train strike derailed our plans and we needed to come to London a little sooner than expected. (Those train strikes can wreak havoc). Would stay here again in a heartbeat; just a wonderful, warm, relaxing experience.

Basecamp for Extended Visit to London

My family of four enjoyed an extended stay at this property, giving us a quiet and well sized place to base all of our adventures from. There is easy access for multiple transit options, and it's close to Shepards Bush where you can rent a car for the day if needed.

Wonderful place

What a wonderful place to stay. Was easy to get around with the Tube close by. Easy to get to all the sites, then come back to flat and the quietness of the neighborhood was lovely. Owners had great suggestions on restaurants. Would come back to this flat again.

Beautiful and quite place

We had a great stay in Hugo´s appartment. The location is very nice and quite, good mattrasses, in the kitchen you find everything you need also for bigger coocking actions and it is near to many bus stops. We contacted Hugo a few times and he always answered quickly. Gladly again!

Prime London Location

We really enjoyed our family holiday in London. The city is coming back to life and this apartment gave us all we needed to enjoy our time away including a separate twin room for our kids. Well connected by overground, underground and buses. Lovely stuff within walking distance. What I would say is that a couple of touches would have improved our experience even more. There was no welcome other than a generic note on the board (not even a pint of milk), half a loo roll for the whole week, a single person caffetiere as the only coffee maker, no Bluetooth speaker and the TV had no Netflix/iplayer/internet capability which both feel kind of standard for 2021. Not deal breakers but just felt a bit stingy when you’re paying Central London prices. However, super comfy beds, lovely shower, great spot.

Great spot for a London visit....

A family friendly location in a charming neighborhood. The train station is a 5 minute walk away which will get you wherever you want to go in London. A couple of good local eateries and a small grocer all within 2-3 blocks. Be aware, flat is on the 3rd floor if you have any mobility issues.

L'appartamento era come descritto , nessuna sorpresa. Io e la mia famiglia abbiamo passato una piacevole vacanza di 5 giorni a Londra , la stazione della metro è a pochi passi . La zona è molta tranquilla , ideale per riposarsi dopo una giornata in giro per la città.

Great location for sightseeing in London

Great location, well equipped with tasteful decor. Plenty of space for 3-4 guests including dishwasher, washing machine and the all important wifi connection. Easy to get to London’s sights with Supermarkets, restaurants, shops and cinemas ( Westfield, Kensington Highstreet) nearby. For jogging fans, Holland and Kensington Park are in easy distance or alternatively we headed down to the Thames at Hammersmith. Several public transport options including underground, overground and buses. Big thanks to the owner, who was very responsive and helpful when we had queries.

Gute Lage in schönem Viertel

Die Wohnung liegt im schönen Kensington, ist gut an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel angebunden. Parks und Restaurants sind in unmittelbarer Nähe, die Wohnung ist ruhig gelegen und für 4 Personen ausreichend groß. Hugo und Elisabeth waren jederzeit kurzfristig erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit, sie sind sehr nette Gastgeber.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We always loved the fact Brook Green and Kensington Olympia have very cosy 'village' feels whilst still being in the heart of central London and with easy access to the rest of the city. There are two parks on our doorstep, Holland and Hyde parks, glorious in summer. You can walk to the heart of Kensington in 10 mins - so its very well positioned. It is fabulous for pubs and restaurants, very handy for tubes and trains ... and very easy for exiting London on the M4 or M40 motorways.
