This place was amazing. Even better than it looks online. The bottom of the stairs is literally at the beach. It made it really easy to manage me two little kids who spent the entire vacation at the beach. Also, beautiful reef snorkeling was literally right in front of the house.

Loved the pool and patios. Enjoyed meeting Marvin who handled everything we needed. Appreciated there was overnight security, however felt safe in Roatan. Beautiful place, lovely people.

It's hard to beat walking out your front door steps hang a left and walk into the bay.This was the third time I stayed here with friends and every time they were wowed by the views, house and host support

We stayed in Villa #1 and were literally steps from the beach and snorkeling on an amazing reef. So easy to slip on a suit and go snorkeling without having to lug anything to the beach. The view from the house was amazing and the patio with private pool was breezy and relaxing after a day at the beach or exploring! Super close to everything in the West End including a well stocked market, coffee shop, stores and restaurants. You can also rent paddle boards or have lots of activities arranged for you right on the beach with miss Anita (right next to gingers). Also super easy to get a water taxi to west bay. We had 3 adults and two children and had plenty of space. The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms were spacious and the 4 full baths were great. The kitchen and house are well equipped, lots of beach towels, pool noodles and life vests. Any issues we had were promptly addressed and resolved and the onsite groundskeeper Marvin was amazing! We did the private chef for dinner and highly recommend! One of the best meals we had, I would recommend this for families traveling with children or a group looking for a convenient, safe and gorgeous property to stay at. We will definitely be back!

What an amazing villa in a fantastic location! It just doesn't get any better. Wonderful views of the ocean, bars, restaurants, and snorkeling right out your door and an superb dive shop below you!

Perfect location snorkeling just steps away

Couldn’t ask for a better place for my family. Kids loved being able to jump in the ocean and snorkel just steps from our door. We could even watch them from the back porch. Communication is great. Will stay here again.

West end stay

Awesome property in west end, great location with walking distance to a bunch of food, drink, and beach. Snorkeling right of the front door, Marvin the house attendant was great as well. Only issue we had with water temperature was fixed within a few hours. The Roatan Vacation Rental crew onsite was very responsive and we saw them in the area almost every day. Thanks for an awesome stay!!!

We stayed at #1 of the Coral Vista houses for 12 days in early August 2026. This is a four bed/4 both house with 3 of the bedrooms having an en-suite and the downstairs bedroom (two twin beds) with that bathroom off the kitchen (also includes a washer/dryer). The living space is quite large with a good sized family room and dining area - although it also has a nice patio with new outdoor furniture and a million dollar view.The patio was our day hang reading, swimming, whatever - and the family room was our night hand with spirited games of trivia and family feud, etc. The pool is really a splash pool but was actually a bit larger than we expected. It is perfect for a dip after a morning (or afternoon) snorkel. The appliances were up to date and working without issue. We only ate out twice during the 12 days and each time we could have skipped this and cooked at home.You don't need to pack towels or linens - the house has enough. You should buy (or bring) your own mask/snorkel/fins - because if you don't enough the bay - you're missing 80% of the reason for going.Snorkeling - my whole reason for going to this house was so I could have a snorkel before breakfast and before dinner. For those nervous about sharks - forget about it - this was my third time on Roatan and I've NEVER seen even the smallest nurse shark there. Nothing in the water can hurt you - it's the topside you need to be wary about. The channel for boat traffic is well marked so be mindful.

Right in the heart of it all

Our stay was in the busy area of West End. Sitting on the deck was the best. You could scuba dive in the morning and be sitting on the deck in and out of the infinity pool all afternoon. My boys loved using the Kayaks. All the restaurants were within walking distance.

Wonderful Location!!!

We loved Coral Vista#1! The property was awesome perfectly located on the reef!! Clean and had everything we needed for our family if 6 adults! West End is great and quaint! Water taxi took us to West Bay and that is all we needed!!! Happy we stayed in West End!!! Property management was the best!! Very responsive and sweet!! We will be back!!!

Fam vacay 24!

We returned to this property!!! Second year in a row!! We love it so much and appreciate the location!! Can’t beat it! Beautiful water, coral reef right at your door step! Just a water taxi to West Bay for extra adventure! Lots of restaurants around and Happy Hour! Love our sunsets at Beachcombers! We hope to return again as this time was a little short - thanks to American Airlines..

Fun time and BEST location for local Diving

The house was great and located 30 steps from the dive shop we used (Roatan Divers, a great group of folks). Air conditioning was refreshing in the hot weather, as was the pool. The only issue was the water pressure, which is a problem on the island. I'd suggest replacing the shower heads with low-volume heads.

Perfect location!

The house worked great for our family, 8 adults. The location is amazing, with beach at the bottom of the stairs. We did a large groceries buy at Eldon's on the way from the airport, anything else we needed was in walking distance from the house. No need to rent a car. The kitchen is well outfitted, except plastic wrap would have come in handy. Wish I could go back -30celcius, here today.

Best location EVER!!

This residence is centrally located in the vibrant West End—a prime destination! With a party of 9 adults, the accommodations were cozy and met nearly all our needs. While suggesting the addition of extra beach towels, I must commend the well-stocked kitchen for those inclined to cook. West End itself is a treasure trove of delightful restaurants, charming shops, and a myriad of activities. Indulge in the pleasure of sitting by the ocean, sipping a cocktail, and witnessing the breathtaking sunset. My return to Roatan is definite! The laid-back island atmosphere and warm, hospitable locals provided the perfect backdrop for our Christmas vacation.

Amazing property/location

From booking to check out this property and the management were top notch! The communication was excellent which was a major concern for me bringing my kids out of the country. All questions were answered beforehand and the house was exactly how it was advertised. Very clean! The only thing I would mention is if you are traveling around Easter time, be aware of the major celebrations that occur. For the first 3 nights of our stay there was loud music until 3am. Other than that, everything was great.

Great location, lovely villa!

We loved our stay at Coral Vista 1. The property managers are top notch. When we arrived we had a few problems...the safe batteries went dead after we had locked our stuff inside it, and we had no Wi-Fi. The safe was an easy fix, but the Wi-Fi was a challenge. It actually got fixed on a Sunday, which was amazing! Marvin, the on site caretaker was friendly and wonderful, and a great source of information. Liz also was a great help. I highly recommend this property. The snorkeling was excellent, and easy access from the beach right next to the steps in front of Ginger's Restaurant (great food there also!). Our small group of 4 had a great stay here...close to restaurants, some small grocery stores, and water taxi's to West Bay.

Great place in a great location

Couldn't have gotten a better property. The location was perfect. The only downside was having to walk through the beach to get to the property (it's like having warm champagne). However, I expected this and have no problems with it. The property was beautiful and we were blessed with great breezes while we were there (although this is probably unusual for roatan). The big downside was the breezes were so nice there was no reason to get into the pool! No breeze, then get in the pool! Beautiful property in a great location right in West End. I would rent this property again no problem. I would actually love to buy it!

The property is quite old and showings its age. The furniture cushions have lost their firmness, causing one to sink quite low. There were no instructions for the Nest thermostats, making it difficult to control the AC. The sliding door out to the patio is very heavy. It does not have an external handle, so opening and closing the door is a real pain. While the kitchen is well equipped with utensils, pots and pans, there were NO condiments other than salt and pepper. Not acceptable. The unit, as noted in the listing does not have parking. What is not mentioned is that all your luggage , as well as groceries, etc, must be hauled to the unit; about a 500-600 ft walk. Very inconvenient. The unit is very roomy, but quite dated. Marvin, the on site super, was very friendly and helpful. Cudos to him. Located directly adjacent to the beach, we expected the unit to have a variety of beach toys and beach chairs and umbrellas. There were no chairs or umbrellas, only two noodles and one flotation device. There are two kayaks available, but they are quite heavy and difficult to move. I feel that the unit is overpriced given some lack of amenities.Lastly, the view from the back porch is wonderful. The sunrises and sunsets are spectacular. Note, the owner is trying to sell the unit. I suspect, as a result, attention to detail is low on his priority list.
