This charming stone built cottage is just a few steps from the harbourside, shops and pubs in Seahouses… a delightful two bedroom property full of character - the open plan sitting room has exposed roof trusses, a wood burning stove and a well equipped kitchen for all your catering needs. Ginnel Cottage is all on one level with two bedrooms - perfect for a family holiday… you can even take the dog too!
Northumberland is awash with castles and market towns all within easy reach of the cottage. Just 3 miles north is the impressive Bamburgh Castle which dramatically clings to a rocky outcrop. Seahouses in Beadnell Bay with its unique west facing harbour is a great spot for sailing, windsurfing and scuba diving. It’s 5 miles to Holy Island and Lindisfarne and golf, fishing and horse riding are all available locally.
Size: sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms Beds: 1 x double bed, 1 x twin beds.
Accommodation:
Ground Floor Open plan kitchen, living room and dining area: electric oven and ceramic hob, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, large fridge/freezer, multi fuel stove. Comfortable sofas, TV, dining table and chairs. Bedroom 1: double bed, storage wardrobe and smart TV. Bedroom 2: twin beds, storage drawers and TV/DVD combo. Shower room: large shower cubicle, WC and wash basin.
Entertainment: flat screen Smart TV & DVD Player. Outside: guests have access to a secluded outdoor seating area. Parking: on street parking for one car. General: WiFi. bed linen and towels provided. Central heating. Electric underfloor heating and radiators. Multi fuel stove. Pets: pets welcome. Note - you will need to pay an additional pet fee and you must not leave dogs unattended in the property. Accidental Damage Deposit: you may need to pay an Accidental Damage Deposit or Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver for this property. Where applicable we will contact you in good time before your holiday with further details and to take payment.

Gunnel Cottage

The cottage was exactly what we wanted and expected. Fully equipped, with a spacious layout and the interior was bright and modern. Immaculately clean. We had two dachshunds with us and plenty of walks to access from the cottage. On arrival we had a lovely bottle of wine in the fridge waiting for us! I would rate our stay A*****

Beautiful bolthole by the beach

The house is perfect as just off the front so quiet while still being surrounded by places to eat. We loved the stove after a chill day on the beach. The perfect night sleep more than made up for the lack of seaview and was a 2 min walk to the harbour which has a spectacular view.
