Slappna av i denna rymliga 3-vånings A-ram. PRIVAT men ändå bekvämt.
Granne på ena sidan och anliggade av 25 tunnland grön bälte i ryggen. Bekvämlighet med privat utrymme.
HANDLIG PLATS vid ingången till Kachina Village, 6 mil söder om Flagstaff på I-17. Bara 1000 yds från motorvägen, men ändå privat, omgiven av tallar med en privat trädgård på 1/3 tunnland.

Kachina Village är omgiven av Coconino National Forest och miles av bra mountainbike och vandring. 45 minuter till Snowbowl Ski Area, till Sedona, till Anasazi-ruinerna i Wupatki National Monument, och 1. 5 timmar till Grand Canyon.

Stugan är ett unikt, bekvämt hus med en ram på 2600 kvm. Naturlig tall och cederträ i hela; anpassade inbyggda och speciella inslag som sovloft, växthus och spelrum med uppvärmt betonggolv. Plus ett nytt Dimension One Dream-spa.

Koppla av i solskenet på däck, rostat tårna framför vedeldad eldstad, skjut lite poolen, utmana någon till en hård match vid fotbollsbordet ... eller blöt bara i badtunnan och krulla upp för att läsa in ett av de privata hörnen.

Vi har en stor trädgård på 1/3 tunnland för att få dina hundar att känna sig välkomna om de kommer med. Det finns en liten engångsavgift för husdjur för extra städning.

Det finns en studiolägenhet ovanför garaget, som är separat från huset och har en egen ingång runt baksidan. Lägenheten ligger på motsatt sida av huset från trädgården och badtunnan, så du har integritet.
Hyresgästen, Cassity, arbetar på Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce. Hon har ett hem i Mesa, så hon åker hem på helgerna och är inte i Flagstaff. Du kanske inte ser henne, men vi ville ge dig ett huvud, så om du gör det, vet du att han hör hemma där.

Våra priser är baserade på $ 180 per natt / mer på helger från Labor Day till Memorial Day och $ 200 per natt / mer på helger på sommaren. Veckopriser diskonteras liksom månatliga priser. Semesterpriser är baserade på $ 300 per natt: Thanksgiving och jul. Andra helgdagar är de vanliga priserna.

Family trip with our 2 college students.

It is a beautiful property and very well located. Only 10 minutes from Flagstaff, half an hour from Williams and "Bearizona", and 1 hour and a half from the Grand Canyon. We enjoyed them all. The game room was fantastic! Evenings in the chalet playing pool, ping pong, and foosball made it a terrific family outing. Thank you very much, Jim and VRBO.

Yearly Flagstaff trip with grandsons!

This is our second time staying here with our grandsons for our Christmas getaway. The kids go to the Snowbowl while we just hang back at the cabin and cook. We'll be back!

Escape from Phoenix heat

My spouse and I came up to Flagstaff for the week. House is spacious as and had everything we needed. Lots of games, books and activities to keep you occupied.

Memorial Day Escape

The chalet is a very uniquely designed home with a spacious floor plan and nice furnishings.. It features a large dining table, wood burning fireplace, large skylights, wood & tile floors, a well-equipped kitchen, great appliances, and a large game room. It has a large fenced back yard with tall pines and is in a surprisingly quiet neighborhood for being close to I-17. We enjoyed relaxing and having breakfast on the large front porch. There is a nice big bedroom on the main floor and more rooms upstairs. [FYI: not handicap friendly -- there are stairs, several levels and a sunken, step down remodeled/gorgeous shower.] Our host was great and we really enjoyed our stay!

Thanksgiving week

We had a fun filled family stay with 8 of us and plenty of room to move around in. Had about a foot of snow which for us Phoenixites was a rare treat. It was beautiful!

Fun in the snow in this cozy home.

The home was in great shape and clean all the rooms were very warm and the fireplace gave a great home like warmed. We enjoyed playing pool and foosball in the game room. Getting into a hot jacuzzi in the middle of winter was an awesome experience. We hope to do this again next year.

Chalet

I really enjoyed my stay. Chris and Jim were both so kind and accommodating. They were really nice to work with. The only feed back I have is that we would have really liked to have had access to the garage and long driveway it was hard to fit two trucks and two trailers comfortably in the space the guests are allowed to use.

Our home away from home!

We’ve stayed at the chalet many many times over the years but we moved away during Covid and once we were back on the West Coast it was the first place we wanted to visit. The moment we walked in our entire family made the comment how it smelled the same, which is a good thing, it literally feels like a second home to our family! We love the game room, jacuzzi, fireplace and just the feel of decompressing from our busy lives to be in a peaceful and cozy environment. We always leave refreshed and looking forward to our next trip! A huge thanks to the owners for communicating about weather, the house and also being receptive whenever we’ve ever had an issue or notified them of a problem, y’all are the best!!

Lots to do

I celebrated my 70th birthday on Labor Day weekend. We live in Phoenix so going to Flagstaff and spending 5 days in the cool weather was a real treat. My family came up for the weekend and we had a great time. There is lots to do in the cabin and it kept my teenage granddaughters off their phones (most of the time). They loved the hot tub, ping pong table, pool table and Foosball. There is a park across the street and 2 stores within walking distance. It was nice that our dogs could come with us and there is a nice hiking trail nearby which we walked everyday. The cabin is very comfortable and is well stocked. We really loved it!!!

Great !

This is a great cozy property with all that we needed for the most part. Games for teens with pool table and fuzeball. Hot tub! Cozy beds! Fireplace! Needs some better cleaning as was quite dusty in many places and smelled of humidity . It is rustic though. Plus missing some usual kitchen things that seem to be in most VRBO s like oil that is not past date, and a few more condiments etc that would be useful for travellers .overall great place if they could clean bit better and get rid of humidity smell.

Good not great

The house was very comfortable and clean inside and the yard was fenced so it was good for our dogs. But the backyard was very run down and had very little sitting room. The kitchen was fully stocked and the upstairs bedrooms were quite cozy. The house sits next to a rather busy intersection and you can hear the interstate noise whenever you are outside. Having said that, it is conveniently close to Flagstaff. So if remoteness and outdoor living is what you seek this is not the place. But if you just want a comfy base camp to Flagstaff and environs, this is a nice house.

Perfect Holiday Getaway

Great place in the pines

Unique property with a great hot tub. It was quiet and secluded. There were a lot of spider webs inside the house, but it was otherwise very tidy. The heated floors in the bathroom and game room were amazing! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed.

Fabulous time!!

We rented this cabin for a 3 night stay with 8 grandkids including girlfriends! The kids were at the Snow Bowl each day while my husband and I stayed at the cabin. It fit our needs perfectly! We taught at NAU for year. Chris was the premed advisor and Jim had the opportunity to go to medical school in his 50s. After graduating from Midwestern University in Glendale, we moved to Philadelphia for residency at University of Pennsylvania and stayed. We enjoy hosting guests at the chalet. We have been hosting for more than 12 years.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We lived here in for 15 years with our two sons and various friends. This is a great house for kids.
We had many large parties with lots of guests: Thanksgivings and Christmases were always here. Our wedding dinner was here. Our friends had a wonderful time staying at our place. When we left Flagstaff, we decided to share our happy home with others, and furnished it with the idea of the perfect getaway. We love the clean air and peaceful environs of Flagstaff, and still vacation here ourselves.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

SPACE and PRIVACY. Kachina Village is very popular because of its unique country atmosphere. Unfortunately, due to haphazard planning many homes are pushed up against the neighbors, creating a closed-in feeling and compromised privacy from the neighbors.
The chalet has one neighbor with a privacy fence. There is plentiful space in the rear with a 25 acre greenbelt and an empty lot to the other side.

FOREST SETTING
The surrounding Coconino National Forest, with its hundreds of miles of forest roads and trails. We loved to run our dogs in the forest. In addition to the abundant natural beauty of the high country, we appreciate the crystal clear air.

HOT TUB with fenced enclosure
Our outdoor hot tub, dimension one dream, installed November 2015, is wonderful at night, under the stars. We love the warm, rustic character of our classic chalet, which feels like 'home' from the minute you step in the door.
