HANDLIG PLATS vid ingÄngen till Kachina Village, 6 mil söder om Flagstaff pÄ I-17. Bara 1000 yds frÄn motorvÀgen, men ÀndÄ privat, omgiven av tallar med en privat trÀdgÄrd pÄ 1/3 tunnland.

Kachina Village Àr omgiven av Coconino National Forest och miles av bra mountainbike och vandring. 45 minuter till Snowbowl Ski Area, till Sedona, till Anasazi-ruinerna i Wupatki National Monument, och 1. 5 timmar till Grand Canyon.

Stugan Àr ett unikt, bekvÀmt hus med en ram pÄ 2600 kvm. Naturlig tall och cedertrÀ i hela; anpassade inbyggda och speciella inslag som sovloft, vÀxthus och spelrum med uppvÀrmt betonggolv. Plus ett nytt Dimension One Dream-spa.

Koppla av i solskenet pÄ dÀck, rostat tÄrna framför vedeldad eldstad, skjut lite poolen, utmana nÄgon till en hÄrd match vid fotbollsbordet ... eller blöt bara i badtunnan och krulla upp för att lÀsa in ett av de privata hörnen.

Vi har en stor trÀdgÄrd pÄ 1/3 tunnland för att fÄ dina hundar att kÀnna sig vÀlkomna om de kommer med. Det finns en liten engÄngsavgift för husdjur för extra stÀdning.

Det finns en studiolÀgenhet ovanför garaget, som Àr separat frÄn huset och har en egen ingÄng runt baksidan. LÀgenheten ligger pÄ motsatt sida av huset frÄn trÀdgÄrden och badtunnan, sÄ du har integritet.

Family trip with our 2 college students.

It is a beautiful property and very well located. Only 10 minutes from Flagstaff, half an hour from Williams and "Bearizona", and 1 hour and a half from the Grand Canyon. We enjoyed them all. The game room was fantastic! Evenings in the chalet playing pool, ping pong, and foosball made it a terrific family outing. Thank you very much, Jim and VRBO.

Memorial Day Escape

The chalet is a very uniquely designed home with a spacious floor plan and nice furnishings.. It features a large dining table, wood burning fireplace, large skylights, wood & tile floors, a well-equipped kitchen, great appliances, and a large game room. It has a large fenced back yard with tall pines and is in a surprisingly quiet neighborhood for being close to I-17. We enjoyed relaxing and having breakfast on the large front porch. There is a nice big bedroom on the main floor and more rooms upstairs. [FYI: not handicap friendly -- there are stairs, several levels and a sunken, step down remodeled/gorgeous shower.] Our host was great and we really enjoyed our stay!

Yearly Flagstaff trip with grandsons!

This is our second time staying here with our grandsons for our Christmas getaway. The kids go to the Snowbowl while we just hang back at the cabin and cook. We'll be back!

Escape from Phoenix heat

Our home away from home!

We’ve stayed at the chalet many many times over the years but we moved away during Covid and once we were back on the West Coast it was the first place we wanted to visit. The moment we walked in our entire family made the comment how it smelled the same, which is a good thing, it literally feels like a second home to our family! We love the game room, jacuzzi, fireplace and just the feel of decompressing from our busy lives to be in a peaceful and cozy environment. We always leave refreshed and looking forward to our next trip! A huge thanks to the owners for communicating about weather, the house and also being receptive whenever we’ve ever had an issue or notified them of a problem, y’all are the best!!

Great place in the pines

Unique property with a great hot tub. It was quiet and secluded. There were a lot of spider webs inside the house, but it was otherwise very tidy. The heated floors in the bathroom and game room were amazing! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed.

Great !

This is a great cozy property with all that we needed for the most part. Games for teens with pool table and fuzeball. Hot tub! Cozy beds! Fireplace! Needs some better cleaning as was quite dusty in many places and smelled of humidity . It is rustic though. Plus missing some usual kitchen things that seem to be in most VRBO s like oil that is not past date, and a few more condiments etc that would be useful for travellers .overall great place if they could clean bit better and get rid of humidity smell.

Winter Getaway

Fabulous time!!

We rented this cabin for a 3 night stay with 8 grandkids including girlfriends! The kids were at the Snow Bowl each day while my husband and I stayed at the cabin. It fit our needs perfectly! Perfect

Our host was quick to respond to any questions and very accommodating. I loved the rustic feel of the home. As seen in photos, so of the decor is dated but that added to the charm. All the appliances were newer. There was plenty of firewood split and ready for use. The only warning I will give you is if you arrive at night (we did) and leave the house at night (we did), you can ONLY turn RIGHT out of the driveway!!! My husband almost drove into the median in an attempt to turn LEFT (huge drop). Luckily he noticed it in time. Thank you for making our vacation even more amazing.

We taught at NAU for year. Chris was the premed advisor and Jim had the opportunity to go to medical school in his 50s. After graduating from Midwestern University in Glendale, we moved to Philadelphia for residency at University of Pennsylvania and stayed. We enjoy hosting guests at the chalet. We have been hosting for more than 12 years.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

We lived here in for 15 years with our two sons and various friends. This is a great house for kids.
We had many large parties with lots of guests: Thanksgivings and Christmases were always here. Our wedding dinner was here. Our friends had a wonderful time staying at our place. When we left Flagstaff, we decided to share our happy home with others, and furnished it with the idea of the perfect getaway. We love the clean air and peaceful environs of Flagstaff, and still vacation here ourselves.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

SPACE and PRIVACY. Kachina Village is very popular because of its unique country atmosphere. Unfortunately, due to haphazard planning many homes are pushed up against the neighbors, creating a closed-in feeling and compromised privacy from the neighbors.
The chalet has one neighbor with a privacy fence. There is plentiful space in the rear with a 25 acre greenbelt and an empty lot to the other side.

FOREST SETTING
The surrounding Coconino National Forest, with its hundreds of miles of forest roads and trails. We loved to run our dogs in the forest. In addition to the abundant natural beauty of the high country, we appreciate the crystal clear air.

HOT TUB with fenced enclosure
Our outdoor hot tub, dimension one dream, installed November 2015, is wonderful at night, under the stars. We love the warm, rustic character of our classic chalet, which feels like 'home' from the minute you step in the door.
