Ett charmigt klass 2-hus precis tvärs över vägen från de vackra Westgate-trädgårdarna och ligger precis inom stadsmuren som ligger några minuter från high street (fråga om parkeringsplatser). Det finns tre sovrum och ytterligare två bäddsoffor i vardagsrummet.
De som gillar orientalisk matlagning, det finns en riskokare och en stor kastrull som ångas i köket.
De med ett spädbarn, det finns en barnstol.
Det finns ett vardagsrum, matsal, kök och badrum. Ett av de tre sovrummen ligger på bottenvåningen (de som har svårt att klättra trappan) liksom matsalen, köket och badrummet. Matsalen kan skryta med att ha en av de första, "HD-klara" massproducerade plattskärms-TV-apparaterna tillgängliga vid den tiden (en glädje att undra sig på grund av den "antika" åldern). Vardagsrummet har en stor modern böjd smart-TV. Det finns också en trädgård med bord och stolar

Location

Perfect location for canturbury. Good advice for parking tho an Ez walk from the house. Stairs could be an issue if more than one guest has mobility issues. For us the bedroom on the ground floor was perfect for the one person for whom that was an issue.

Convenient and cozy

My family enjoyed staying here. It is convenient to the Canterbury West train station, the pedestrian zone and Canterbury Cathedral. It is on a busy road, so there is no place to park to unload/load luggage from a car, but there is a car park nearby. The house consists of 3 floors, with one bedroom on each floor. The stairs are quite narrow. The kitchen, dining and bathroom are located on the ground floor. There is lots of art decorating the walls. A lovely stereo controlled by Alexa is in the dining area. We appreciated that fans were provided as it was warm and we were sleeping on the top floor. Chris is a fabulous host -- very quick to respond and we were able to check-in earlier and leave our luggage after check-out. It made our stay much more smooth.

Great location

The owner is fantastic, always quick to respond and really helpful. Lots of things included like bedding and towels but also tea, coffee, spices for cooking, shampoo etc. The garden is a great space, not too private from neighbours but a great sun trap to sit out. House is on a fairly busy road but owner has secondary glazed the front windows to help. I wear ear plugs so no problem for me. The sofas are really uncomfortable- really need changing, I couldn’t sit on them and I can’t imagine anyone sleeping on them. Mattress in top room is very soft, bed on ground floor slopes towards the wall, not sure if it’s a bed or mattress problem but could benefit from sorting. Property is in a super location for the city. I really don’t think you can find a nicer owner. If he sorts the beds & sofas I’d definitely recommend

Erg fijn verblijf. Midden in het centrum en fijne woning. Parkeren wel een probleem, maar de eigenaar komt met goede alternatieven.

So much character

Quaint little house with bags of character. Clean, great facilities. Communication with owner was easy. Highly recommend, so close to local restaurants and attractions.

Very nice apartment close to village

My husband and daughter found this place very comfortable, clean and pretty. Interesting layout with 3 floors and only 1 bathroom on ground floor, but we expected that. Very close to town and nice amenities. Beautiful artwork in the house, as well, and very nice back patio!
