quiet area, fabulous sandy beach
Two bedroom apartment on the outskirts of a quiet part of Lefkimmi. Spotlessly clean. Large gardens with plenty of seating areas to sit in the shade, which back onto a sandy beach and was only used by people from these apartments. You can take sun loungers from the garden onto the beach, and there are plenty of overhanging trees for shade. Almost like your own private beach. Warm shallow waters, perfect for younger children. Fantastic sunrises if you are awake! Nearest taverna is 10 minutes stroll further down the beach, Nearest restaurant is 15-20 minute walk away so I would say you need a car. Owner/manage is lovely and met us at 2am when we arrived! Nothing was too much trouble for her and she keeps the garden area well maintained. Two downsides. The kitchen is very basic. And the shower, although powerful, is hand held - nowhere to hang shower head whilst showering. That said, I would visit again and recommend if you want a quiet, away from it all, break.
