Sjön vid sjön är byggd på en 1 tunnland stor tomt med utsikt över sjön Garfield. Det är bara tre minuters promenad till den offentliga stranden med livvakter på plats. Detta moderna hem på en nivå har välvda tak överallt. Det finns två master sviter med king size-sängar och två andra sovrum med queen size-sängar. En promenad ut på däck från ett av sovrummen så att du kan njuta av morgonkaffe. Tre gemensamma utrymmen inkluderar ett loft för gäster att koppla av. En ny tvättmaskin och torktumlare finns i ett av gästbadrummen. Köket med nya apparater i rostfritt stål är utrustat med premiumredskap och krukor. Gästerna kan umgås vid bänkskivorna i köket medan någon förbereder måltiderna. En gasgrill finns på främre däck som kan nås från köket eller det stora rummet. Det finns två gas spisar för att hålla dig mysig på natten.

På sommaren är Jacob's Pillow Dance Center och Tanglewood Music Center cirka 25 till 30 minuter bort. På vintern är Ski Butternut resort cirka 10 minuters bilresa. Monterey är en liten avskild stad med en allmän butik, Bidwell Museum och några små gårdar där du kan få färsk mjölk, ägg, fläsk, kyckling, lönnsirap, getost, frukt och grönsaker. Det är bara en 15 minuters bilresa till Great Barrington där lokala presentbutiker, ekologiska livsmedelsbutiker och gård-till-bord och gastronomiska restauranger finns. Om du gillar att shoppa är Lee Premium Outlets 15 minuter bort.

A wonderful home in a great location. Home is clean, well equipped, and roomy enough for nine of us. A kid friendly beach is a short walk away. Everyone in our group fully enjoyed our time in Monterey!

Beautiful and Large House in the woods

This house was beautiful and exactly the place for a family trip (6 adults, 3 kids). Central air was key on hot days, the amount of bathrooms ideal for 9 people! Host was very accommodating and quick with communication. Enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards at the lake (we had a truck to make it easier, but they could be walked down to the town beach, which isn’t too far!). All TVs are set for casting or using your own accounts (not that we watched too much tv!). Place was big enough for my toddler to nap and not have everyone too close to wake her. Would recommend!

Great stay near Butternut

Took family on a trip to Butternut and this was the perfect house for my family of 5. House was clean and cozy, bed comfortable and lots of space for my 3 kids. Easy drive to downtown Great Barrington. We would stay here again in the future.

Ski Weekend

Cindy's place is perfect for a family getaway - the floor plan is open - there is natural sunlight throughout the entire house and the views are incredible. The first floor has multiple places to hang out with 2 living room areas to gather for some family fun. There is also a beautiful loft to enjoy TV or just relax on the couch's. The kitchen has everything you need to stay in and cook meals and has seating at the island that can accommodate 4. There is also a dining room which would accommodate up to 10 at the same table. The kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms were all fully stocked with all the essentials you need. The house was extremely clean and comfortable, clearly designed thoughtfully to accommodate guests. We used the gas fireplace's every night we were there - plenty of space for all eight of us to sit comfortably and enjoy the warmth of the fire. There is also an area on the main floor to watch TV and there is a wrap around couch to accommodate up to eight people. There is also an added bonus a 2 car garage that we used since there was a storm the weekend we stayed - so nice not to have to scrape/take the snow off the cars. The host is nice and very professional, and easy to reach out to if needed and responds right away. I would highly recommend staying here if you plan on visiting the Berkshires.

Wonder vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home in the Berkshires. The house was lovely and nicely accommodated our family with adult children and grandchildren. The house was clean and very comfortable. And, being so close to a small beach for swimming and boating was terrific. We had easy access to much of what the Berkshires have to offer. We hope to return!

Beautiful home!

The property was wonderful! The exterior looked very well maintained but did prepare us for just how lovely the inside would be. Was extremely spacious and looked like a gigantic log cabin. Each room was spotless and very nicely decorated. The thing that my husband & I loved the most was that our master/king bedroom was located on the west side of house and all the others were on the east side. Since we tend to prefer a cooler home climate than the others do, we were able to control our own thermostat, especially at night for sleeping! The living and dining areas were very nice and cozy. Our only complaint was that the Living Room did not have a TV. But there was a TV in the loft area, which was beautiful! There was another tv in the other master bedroom. Being that we were there for a family reunion , to catch up with each other,the missing Tv wasn’t an issue. The kitchen was beautiful and well equipped. The view from front porch was very pretty! The was also a side porch. We all agreed that a fire pit there would have completed the magnificent home! Would definitely recommend!!

Friend’s getaway

We had a wonderful long weekend. House was exceptionally clean and completely well stocked. Ample room for 6 adults. Beautiful souroundings outside perfect for walks. Decor was lovely and host made everything easy to find and mahage. Highly recommend.

Awesome stay

Perfect long weekend stay for a group of 10 including kids. The house is huge with lots of great amenities. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to visit the Berkshires with a large group. Local beach was great also and everyone there super friendly.

Summer house

Spacious, well equipped, lovely house and property. Very nice beach nearby. One minor inconvenience. Kayaks have to be brought back and forth to the beach daily. Not a long walk but it is a hill.

A memorable gathering of siblings

My siblings and I gathered with our significant others in this well equipped and comfortable house nested in the woods in the Berkshires. We enjoyed sharing memories in this quiet setting. The beds were so comfortable, we all slept well. We were sorry we couldn’t see the lake from the deck because of trees and foliage but we were able to walk to the beach. We didn’t use the kayaks as they were too heavy for the group (all over 75). We enjoyed our trips to Jacobs Pillow and the Norman Rockwell museum. We spent our evenings gathered around the house’s large dining table eating our evening meal while laughing about our youth.

Great vacation home with friends

The house was great for our group of 4 couples, plus two of our young adult children for part of the time. Communication with Cindy was terrific! The house is lovely, spacious, bright, comfortorable, and well furnished. The kitchen is the best rental kitchen I've ever stayed in. It was great sitting in the living room and on the deck looking out on the lake, and it's a short walk to the beach. It's close to both Great Barrington and Lee. The only minor downside for us was that, although there was lots of space when we were in smaller subgroups, it was a bit crowded for all 10 of us to be together in the same space for meals or socializing. (for example: the patio table has 6 chairs, plus 3 adironack chairs that don't work well for sitting at the table. The livingroom sectional is comfortable but we needed to bring in some dining room chairs to all be in the livingroom at once). That being said, I'd still gladly stay at Cindy's house again.

Wedding weekend

Traveled from NC and Las Vegas for a family wedding. Lovely house, perfect for the seven of us. Had a swim in the lake and made some good memories. The house had everything we needed and then some! Very spacious and comfortable. I highly recommend the home. Cindy was great to work with.

Family Vaca

We stayed for a week in this beautiful Berkshire home with our adult children, their spouses and our one grandchild. There is so much room in this place that we never felt crowded. There are wonderful common areas inside and outside including two decks. The kitchen is well stocked. Appliances and decor are first class. The lake is a three minute walk. Lee, Great Barrington, and Lenox are all easily accessible, as well as some great local hikes and gardens. Check out Bob’s Way and Ashintully Gardens. we would definitely consider staying here again.

Graduation celebration

We had a fabulous time.The house was very spacious allowing our big family to get together and celebrate our Son's high school graduation. We love that everything was labled and easy to find and Cindy was very helpful and accessible. Definitely looking forward to going back to enjoy the lake thats only a few steps away!
