This wonderful rural villa for rent in traditional Mallorcan style is located in the suburb of AlarĂł, a picturesque village situated in a quiet valley south of the Serra de Tramuntana, a mountain range declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walking through its narrow cobblestone streets and enjoying the ancient architecture, you can "go back in time" to the medieval centuries. Additionally, here you can find a wide range of charming restaurants that invite you to enjoy the fabulous Mallorcan cuisine. And the surroundings are destined for hiking lovers, as they offer many trails to walk.
As you arrive at the house via a private palm tree-lined path, you begin to feel relaxed and calm. The authentic solid wood entrance door invites you into the spacious hall that leads to a cosy rest area with a fireplace, a large living room with a seating area and a dining table for 10 people with views of the garden, a fully equipped kitchen with a wood-fired oven, the first double room with a double bed and a bench by the window - a perfect spot to read - and its private bathroom and two other rooms (one with a double bed and another with two single beds) that share a full bathroom. Going up the stairs, we find another spacious bedroom with a double bed and its private bathroom and another bedroom with a sofa bed.
This villa has been renovated and updated, but at the same time it has a lot of character thanks to its rustic style that was completely preserved, as all the authentic Mallorcan details were carefully restored during the work: a chapel at the entrance, walls and arches of natural stone, wooden beams, wrought iron railings, ceiling lamps, furniture and accessories, and much more.
Among other facilities, there is TV, WIFI, DVD player, fans, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and much more.
This wonderful rustic property is located on an extensive plot of 97,000 m2 with a large number of orange trees, palm trees and olive trees, a 10x6 m saltwater pool surrounded by a terrace with sun loungers and a perfect lawn for sunbathing and outdoor activities. From here, as from almost the entire house, you can enjoy stunning views of the Tramuntana. Another benefit of the house is a large covered porch with a summer kitchen and dining area overlooking the pool and mountains, an outdoor shower and many outdoor rest areas. And sports lovers and active relaxation will appreciate an outdoor ping-pong table.
The villa benefits from a secluded location while having an excellent connection: the town of Alaró is just 800 metres away, where you will find supermarkets, fruit shops, restaurants and cafés and all the necessary amenities. Muro Beach, one of the largest and most beautiful beaches in Mallorca, with a long seafront promenade and many beach restaurants and clubs, is 25 minutes by car. And, of course, within a 15-20 minute radius, there are many picturesque towns and cities that make you fall in love with them at first sight.
