Birch Haven är en vacker, välutrustad sjöstuga på Horsefly Lake med cirka 1200 kvadratmeter boyta inklusive ett kök och 2 badrum. Ljust öppet koncept vardagsrum med underbar sjöutsikt från de stora fönstren. Två sovrum loft. 6 sovplatser bekvämt, alternativ för mer. Stort solterrass med utemöbler, litet kylskåp och eldstaden alldeles vid sjöstranden. Privat brygga för att koppla av din båt efter en enkel start på Provincial Park över sjön. 220 ft privat strand med en svagt sluttande privat stenstrand. Stor gård med platta lekplatser. Tvättmaskin, torktumlare, mikrovågsugn och WiFi. Fullt utrustat, sängkläder och handdukar ingår.

Aluminium robåt för gästanvändning. Stor uppfart med riklig parkering. Betong offentlig båt lansering i Provincial Park över sjön. Enkel åtkomst i ett befolket men privat område.

Du har EXCLUSIV användning av 2. 5 hektar stor egendom som gränsar på kronmark på två sidor. Dina värdar ligger precis längs vägen, om du behöver hjälp med någonting.

The View

What a beautiful place! When we walked in we were greeted with a fantastic view and cozy atmosphere. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and kid friendly. The lake was where we spent most of our time boating, swimming and fishing. Will definitely be coming back ❤️

Wonderful waterfront cabin getaway

We loved swimming and playing in the crystal clear water and watching all the little fish. The cabin and property were beautiful and had everything we needed. Remco was an excellent host. We are looking forward to coming back!

Cozy and Relaxing!

We really enjoyed our stay at Birch Haven. We found everything we needed in the well stocked kitchen and also the game cabinet! The beds were so comfortable. Remco's instructions for finding the cabin were perfect and it was great meeting him. This was a really peaceful getaway!

The home was very clean and well laid out. It had all of the comforts of home.

We were at the property with our grandson along with our daughter and family. Lots of time spent jumping off the dock and catching frogs.

Beautifully secluded

We really enjoyed our stay and the property is nice. Being on the water was fantastic. Beside the dock needing some repairs (but still floating) the cabin was in great shape.

Peaceful waterfront luxury cottage

My children and I enjoyed Birch Haven this past weekend. We made full use of the property. In the evenings while it rained we did some of the puzzles that are offered onsite. We loved waking up to the beautiful views and the sounds of the birds. My kids enjoyed playing with frogs and chopping wood and just all in all being outside looking at all things nature. We borrowed the row boat and did a day excursion over to the provincial park which made for a fun easy outing. At night its so quiet and peaceful and even enjoyed the sound of the rain on the roof. The cabin is super clean and very comfortable for our family of 5. It is well stocked with pretty much everything you need and the robes are a nice touch. The beds and pillows are a DREAM. We had the best sleeps. We enjoyed the big table for puzzles and games and enjoyed a few meals on the deck with the mosquitos (lol). Its so nice to have a getaway where you just show up with whatever clothes, food and a cold beverage or two and you are literally in paradise. Thanks for having us!!!

A Peaceful Getaway

To say the views are spectacular is an understatement. The cottage was spacious and well equipped. The owner went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was stress free and memorable. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway then Birch Haven will not disappoint. Beautiful!!!

Beautiful location, well maintained, has everything you need

I would recommend staying here. It is comfortable and there are amazing views from the house and beach. Remco and Erin were nice and responded quickly.

Beautiful cottage on Horsefly Lake

We had a wonderful stay at Birch Haven - what a beautiful cottage - with wall to wall windows letting in the sunshine. We had an amazing time in this immaculate home away from home overlooking pristine Horsefly Lake where the wildlife is abundant and the loons will sing you to sleep. If you want quiet- this is the place for you and the sunsets are amazing. Our hosts Remco and Erin have thought of everything to make your stay so relaxing - there is nothing they have not thought of to make you stay absolutely enjoyable. Talk about thoughtful - on our last day our power was out and about 9:30 our host Remco shows up at the cottage with coffee and cookies (home baked) in hand - it was just what we needed!!! We would highly recommend this property and our hosts Remco and Erin Michelle and Brett

Welcome to Birch Haven on Horsefly Lake!

Our story begins in late 1967, when only a few houses and cabins had been established on the shores of beautiful Horsefly Lake. In fact, most lots on Millar Road were only just being offered for sale for the first time. Our family was one of the first to establish a recreational cabin on this end of the lake and eventually decided to retire here and build a beautiful log home – which we still call home today.

We simply love this area and enjoy the lakeside lifestyle year round. When the opportunity presented itself in 2017, we purchased a property that will allow us to share this lifestyle with friends, family and guests alike: Birch Haven.

The property is only a short walk down the road, or paddle down the lake, from our home and is the perfect lakeside vacation property. While its loft gives it that cozy cottage feel, the high quality finishing throughout feels like your home. The large picture windows make the rooms bright and provide absolutely stunning views.

Birch Haven is intended to be a place away from it all where you can rest, relax and recharge. The aim is to provide a luxury lakeside vacation experience with all the comforts of home. Because we understand and appreciate the importance of connectivity, we provide WiFi. On the other hand, you may wish to unplug from the world as much as possible in order to take full advantage of the opportunities the lake and its surrounding areas offer.

Whether you visit for a couples get-away, a family vacation or a recovery-from-life escape, we hope that this Haven will offer you that memorable experience.

Birch Haven is a well-appointed cottage, tucked away in the trees from the road and open to the lake. Besides the lake in front, the property is bordering on Crown land on two sides as well for increased privacy, peace and quiet.

The cottage is comfortable and bright, professionally finished and well maintained.

The 220 ft. of private lakefront has a gently sloping pebble beach and private dock. Lake life doesn't get better than on the private spacious lake shore deck and fire pit area.
