The beach just around the corner offers a handful of restaurants, bars, and water sports. For the more experienced surfers or for the curious who like to watch some of the biggest waves in the world, Nazaré is the place to be.
Peniche and Foz do Arelho are also known among water sports lovers.
Ăbidos is also an interesting place to visit, encircled by ancient town walls, traditionally painted houses, a labyrinth of narrow cobbled streets and a medieval castle, this picturesque village will take you back to the medieval ages!
