Bara en liten bilresa från Woolacombe ligger den förtrollande Ivycott som sitter på sin egen mark på cirka 2 tunnland. Upphöjd från vägkanten har den en vidsträckt utsikt över jordbruksmark och angränsande fastigheter i den lilla byn.

Den enorma uppfarten rymmer parkering för massor av bilar och en gång inuti detta 3 sovrum hus finns det flera rum för storfamiljer att sprida ut. Det finns två nya ingångsportar som gör trädgårdarna och marken helt hundsäkra. När du kommer in genom ytterdörren till vänster är det snygga, kompakta vardagsrummet med gott om soffor för 6 personer och TV, böcker och spel finns tillgängliga.

Vedeldaren gör det till en trevlig plats att tillbringa kvällar med familjen. Det finns en matsal med bord till plats minst 6-8 och utanför det är en söt & lsquo; 'tuff' 'för närvarande inrättad som ett chill out rum eller lekrum med en nedre garderob med tvättmaskin. Bredvid matsalen finns ett ljust kök med moderna off-white-enheter, full storlek diskmaskin, ugn, spis, mikrovågsugn och matlagring. Det är fullt utrustat för 6 personer.

Ett vackert bildfönster vetter ut mot den planlagda trädgården och det finns en användbar veranda vid bakdörren för stövlar / skor. Det finns ett köksbord och ett verktygsområde som håller pannan och frysen i kylen. Det finns en tvättmaskin och torktumlare.

På övervåningen finns 3 sovrum, master med super-king size-säng, garderober, sängbord, byrå och spegel. Det finns en härlig badrum med dusch, handfat och toalett. Nästa är ett king-size-rum och sedan tvåbäddsrum med zip-länk sängar (ange din preferens för super-king eller 2 x singlar på bokningsformuläret) med diskbänk. Det finns ett mycket soligt trevligt familjebadrum med separat dusch.

Utanför ligger den fantastiska trädgården på 3 sidor, planlagda gräsmattor, sängar, upphöjd däck, grillplats med sommarstuga med lite möbler och utsikt över jordbruksmark. Ägarna har nyligen installerat två nya grindar på uppfarten vilket gör denna stora trädgård till fullständig hund säker. Ivycott presenterar ett underbart familjevänligt fritidshus inom en kort bilresa från stränderna i Woolacombe eller Ilfracombe, Croyde och omgivningar. Det är perfekt placerat bort från de galna folkmassorna men ändå lätt tillgång till det bästa av North Devon.

Great stay

Brilliant location. Did the walk to the beach which was beautiful around 30 mins to get there. Pubs in Georgeham excellent went to the Kings Arms for sunday roast lovely food and very accommodating. Ivycott was well equipped, beds very comfortable. Grounds great had some nice moments of just sitting in the sun

Another lovely stay

This is our third stay at Ivycott and it was so good to return - we felt at home the minute we unlocked the front door. It is a lovely spacious property with comfortable bedrooms and great facilities- everything one needs for a relaxing break. Location is perfect. We can't wait to stay again.

A lovely house in a lovely location

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at IVYCOTT ,with family It is a very spacious ,clean and well equipped house .it's Location is rural but there is a public pathway next door to the property which leads into woolacombe but not ideal for prams .We thought it was good value for the money and we enjoyed our stay

Lovely place to stay

Really enjoyed our stay. House was lovely and had everything you need. In an ideal location for exploring the area. Is in a beautiful location. Don't let the farm nearby put you off as we didn't hear a thing, not sure if it's still used. Plenty of spaces to sit in the garden. Would happily stay again.

Beautiful house and gardens

Great sized property for a family of 4 plus large dog. Gardens were beautiful and location a short drive from Woolacombe. The house catered for all our needs and plenty of room to spread out and chill after exploring the north Devon towns and beaches.

Lovely home in excellent location

The property looked good on the web site and did not disappoint. It is a spacious, comfortable house (especially the beds) with everything you need for a great holiday. The house location is also excellent being able to get to several lovely beaches and coastal walks without being stuck in traffic in a honeypot location it's self. We enjoyed the 'extras' table tennis and darts in the garage and the outdoor furniture (although not used too much due to the weather). Certainly hope to return at some time.

A really lovely stay

Our stay at Ivycott was, quite simply, amazing. A really lovely spacious house with bags of character & a wonderfully relaxed, homely feel. Extremely well equipped kitchen, cosy living areas, comfy spacious bedrooms - all spotlessly clean and well laid out. It was fun having the games room and having the garage to.dry surf equipment was very useful. The garden is beautiful. We didn't want to leave! Would we go back? Without a doubt.

Family holiday

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ivycott. Especially the Games room and Summer House. It was large enough for everyone to do their own thing or sit comfortably round the table and, most importantly, several dog friendly beaches nearby.

The property was very spacious and equipped with everything you could need. We really enjoyed the outside space and summer house.. and the bonus was it’s walkable to the dog friendly beach at Woolacombe.

I found the property to be spacious and very clean.Ample parking for six or more cars,the garden and outside spaces ideal,internally all the rooms were very well presented.Definitely go back

Great location and very comfortable

We stayed at Ivycott last year and enjoyed it just as much this year! Great location, comfortable and cosy. Missed some cushions in the lounge, downstairs toilet seat needed sorting and we had to clean windows to see the lovely views but these are small things in what is a fabulous house and lovely gardens. We'll be back hopefully again!

Family Break in Devon

Great family property with everything needed for a nice family holiday. Good facilities and garage turned into a good games room for table tennis etc. Some of the property maybe a little tired with the garden house certainly not in any kind of condition to use. Clean and spacious with lots of parking and in a good location for walking to Woolacombe over the fields off the roads. Certainly recommend the property to others.

Spacious home a short drive from Woolacombe beach

Ivycott was a spacious family home in a rural area with a short drive to the beach. The kitchen was well appointed and a highchair and travel cot was provided, which was helpful. Some of the house was a bit dated and well-used for example the lounge sofa. The house is dog friendly and could benefit from a thorough deep clean to remove any unwanted smells, the twin bedroom in particular could benefit from this and seemed a little damp. The toilet and bathroom doors could benefit from locks. It would have been nice to receive a small welcome package on arrival, including bread and milk etc. We enjoyed the games room in the garage. The garden was nice but was generally not child friendly, we were aware of this before we arrived. Overall we enjoyed our time at Ivycott.

Ivycott cottage

This property was ideal for our family with 3 proper double bedrooms, plenty of space on the ground floor and a nice enclosed garden for the dog, although it was on a bit of a slope. I would definitely book it again.

Poor standards , faults in all 3 toilets, smelly and dirty, garden unkempt

On complaining to HHH ,they passed the buck to owners who set out to attack, rather than sympathise and correct. They live abroad and don’t see the property themselves

A lovely property!

We enjoyed our stay at Ivycott. It was clean and had very comfortable beds. We liked the spacious kitchen which had everything you could think of in it! The facilities were very good and we made full use of the games room and basket ball hoop! The large parkjng area was very welcome. Shame the garden wasn't totally enclosed for dogs but we enjoyed the winding paths and very well stocked garden. Would love to stay again!

Five star accommodation and excellent service from Holiday Home Hunter

We had a really enjoyable holiday at Ivycott. A very spacious cottage, large double bedrooms with an ideal layout for a family and plenty of room for everyone. A short drive into Woolacombe or a 30 minute walk down the adjoining footpath if you feel like a bit of exercise. Excellent facilities and plenty of games in the garage/ gamesroom. Lovely garden and plenty of parking. Highly recommended.

Great for a family holiday

Ivycott is a lovely house with plenty of room for family or friends to utilise. All rooms are spacious and well furnished. The kitchen is well stocked with every utensil you may need. The garden is extensive and well stocked with shrubs and bushes, making it ideal for relaxing or playing hide and seek in. Garden furniture and BBQ are all provided. We will definitely return and stay again.

Excellent base for Woolacombe

Excellent property with a lovely walk through the fields to Woolacombe. Really enjoyed our stay. Only downfall was it stated secure gardens for dogs but we didn't think it was as there were openings where the dogs could of got out. Even so we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
