Stugan ligger i Yorkshire Dales nationalpark i hjärtat av de berömda Three Peaks Pen-y-Ghent, Ingleborough och Whernside, och erbjuder några av de finaste vandringslanden i Storbritannien. Njut av järnvägen i Carlisle nära stugorna, stationen ligger bara 10 minuters promenad bort. Den attraktiva staden på Settle, 6 mil bort och den pittoreska staden Dales på Hawes 15 miles away. Området är också känt för sin krukväxt, Alum Pot är 3 miles. Vita ärrgrottor och Ingleton Waterfalls som en bilresa. Byn har två puiblichus, The Crown och The Golden Lion, båda inom gångavstånd. Den vackra St. Oswald kyrka ligger i södra änden av byn och är väl värt ett besök

Walking the 3 Peaks

Perfect location and gorgeous views.Ideal for the 3 peaks and any other walks in the area. Also enjoyed coffee and scones in the cafe.

Loved our 2 days at this charming cottage, the location is superb and the views spectacular. We have stayed at numerous properties in the Dales and this one is in the top two.

Perfect Location

Fantastic location with great views from every window. Morning coffee on the patio with views over sheep in the fields, stone walls and a nearby stream, topped off by the mountains, was a great way to get the day started.

My friend and I booked in as we wanted to do the 3 Peaks. Fantastic cottage, beautifully clean and well equipped, very comfy beds. Lovely shortbread to greet us and milk in the fridge. Owner very helpful and welcoming - 3 Peaks a success - hopefully we’ll be back. Thank you

A delightful charm, wish we had longer!

Booked for the three peaks challenge and were absolutely delighted. The property is in the best location for one of the startinf ajsbfonishing points of the three peaks challenge. I would happliy return and spend longer withiut the hike as the property is absolutely chaeming. Sad to leave!

Brilliant accommodation in prime location

Everything about this property is wonderful. Charming, warm, inviting are a few words to describe how much we enjoyed our stay. Fully stocked kitchen, rustic and full of character. The garden is stunning and the indoor plants so conducive for happiness. Great location and would stay there again.

Lovely farmhouse property.

View of Pen-y-Ghent from the bedroom window is stunning to see. The owners are next door but only around if you need them. Thanks for the lovely stay, the biscuits and tea, coffee were a thoughtful touch too. Will stay again. Thanks again

Characterful cottage in beautiful surroundings

Property is on the edge of the village with a great view of Peny-gent. The cottage was clean, warm, spacious and ideal for two couples. The decoration was dated but suited the style of the cottage. The hosts were friendly and available but not obtrusive. We really enjoyed our stay and the cottage enhanced our holiday.

Excellent

We had a fabulous weekend in the beautiful quirky cottage, it was like a tardiss, very comfortable, the beds where very comfy, everything you needed and more in the kitchen, we will definitely be booking again. Owners where absolutely lovely and the tea room right next door was ideal.
