Wonderful Family Beach Weekend

Terry’s home is amazing. The location can’t be beat. It’s a short walk to a gorgeous private bay beach. You have expansive views of the bay from the lovely wrap around deck. The yard is large, offering privacy from neighbors and includes gorgeous gardens and lots of fun sitting spaces and decks to be outside. Plus it’s easy to get to all the cool spots in Truro, Wellfleet, and Provincetown. The home is spacious and welcoming. I was there with my extended family including six adults and two children. There are two floors each with large living rooms. There was plenty of space for the kids to be playing downstairs while the adults socialized upstairs. The bedrooms are big and comfortable. There’s an outdoor shower perfect for when you come home from the beach. Terry was a gracious host. His communication was really helpful. It was easy to understand everything about the house and his recommendations of things to do in Truro were great. Our stay was wonderful and I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a spacious comfortable beach house in Truro.

Location, location

This house is in an ideal location in Truro -- great views and a short walk to a private beach on the Bay and to Cold Storage Beach. We stayed there for two weeks in September, a lovely time to be on the Cape. Except for the views, the house itself was a disappointment. The description should include the fact that it is inaccessible to anyone with even minor mobility issues. We were fine, but felt that we couldn't invite some good friends who are fairly mobile but would be challenged by the deterrent stairway that leads to the most lived-in area of the house: kitchen, dining room, two bedrooms and the view. The house was not as clean or prepared for renters as other VRBO/HomeAway houses we have rented. It is clearly well-loved by the owners, but some of the furniture was broken down and the linens, especially the unsorted piles of towels, were very worn.

Great getaway for gatherings

The house is perfect for family get together, plenty of room to be together and apart. Quiet neighborhood, lovely views, nature all around! Short drive to Provincetown if you’d prefer more activity. Walk to Cape Cod Bay beaches or short drive to public beach to amazing Cape Cod National Seashore. Hosts are quick to respond to any questions, this is a special place!

Spacious home with just about everything

We had 8 adults and an infant—extremely comfortable, lots of deck space. Loved to once again have an induction stove to cook on-fast and sensitive. Bottle neck to kitchen, I think because of gate to keep dogs out. Terry, the owner very responsive, friendly, and accommodating. We had an issue or two with plumbing and his repair guy was there practically before we hung up the phone. Wonderful views, convenient to Ptown, great shops close by. Beach was nice, water was COLD, but it was early June! Very private.. Only negatives: my husband got a splinter from the knotty pine floors, and he did not like Apple TV, wanting to see live news shows. I didn’t have a problem not watching TV!!

Fantastic

Wonderful large Bay Village house with all amenities and amazing view of the bay. Well equiped-- just bring your bathing suits. Easy walk to beach. We loved it so much we have already booked for next year!

To good to be true..........

Upon check in the home is very impressive, but after that it all goes down hill quickly. The owners are very uptight and overbearing. The neighbors are also extremely sensitive and watch over every move you make. We have been coming to the Truro area for years and have never experienced anything like this before. There should be warnings posted in the description about the neighbors as well as the owners. If they were honest upfront about all of this, I would've never stayed there. They completely ruined an annual fishing trip. Renters beware.

Wonderful rental!

We had a lovely week with family at your beautiful home. We were very comfortable and had everything thing we needed. It was so nice to come home from a day at the beach and sit on the deck and enjoy the sunset and lovely views. Thank you!!
