FAMILY-FRIENDLY HOLIDAY RENTAL 300M FROM THE BEACH.

This vacation home offers you multiple options of where to dine including your cool rooftop terrace, the ground floor patio, or the numerous beach bars and eateries San Pedro is loved for; or the simple pleasure of strolling along the beach promenade with an ice cream soaking up the atmosphere. All that in addition to comfy, air conditioned accommodation and free Wi-Fi.

Quietly located on the outer street of a pueblo style complex of whitewashed townhouses, this home away from home boasts a wonderful seaside location. Fitness fanatics will love the proximity to the beach promenade (10 minute walk) that stretches all the way to Puerto Banus. Those only in search of leisure will appreciate the selection of beach bars and eateries along the promenade and on the way to San Pedro town centre. The nearest restaurant is El Ancla. Alternatively, you can hang out by the 2 beautiful communal pools surrounded by manicured gardens.

As common to townhouses the property has split levels. Upon entering on the street level there is a newly refurbished bedroom and a communal bathroom. Heading down to the main floor is the open plan kitchen fully equipped including a traditional filter coffee machine, and a living room flowing out to an enclosed patio with a dining table for six. Heading to the upper floor there are two restful double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The rooftop terrace provides a great spot to enjoy cocktails and a BBQ dinner under the stars.

The property is located in a no party urbanisation. There is to be no late night noise nor any anti-social / disruptive behaviour.

Please note out of the Summer season in order to use the pool a waiver document is required to be signed and submitted to the security of the urbanisation. Failure to do so will result in being banned from the pool.

LOCATION

San Pedro Alcantara is a coastal town wedged between Marbella and Estepona and, despite its proximity to glamorous Marbella, has managed to remain unspoilt. Very traditional and laidback, it attracts the type of visitor looking for a more low-key holiday.

Although San Pedro is small, it is a vibrant town abuzz with restaurants, bars, bakery cafes and ice cream parlours. The food scene is both local and international, with Irish pubs, Asian restaurants, Dutch bars all next to traditional Spanish bars and restaurants. There are a couple of well-priced supermarkets (Mercadona, Maskom, Carrefour and Día), a 24-hour pharmacy and boutiques. Thursday is street market day, a true bargain hunter’s paradise. The Boulevard is fast becoming the heart of San Pedro and a favourite with children with a total of six playgrounds and a skateboard area. Adults can sit around nearby, or go to one of the bar/restaurants for a drink, a snack or a meal.

Nueva Alcantara is the new part of town with wide tree-lined avenues leading down to the beach. On the waterfront, the 2 km sweeping tiled promenade serves as an open-air gym with exercise machines and is always bustling with joggers, strollers and dog walkers. It is dotted with chiringuitos all the way along, most of them offering Mediterranean cuisine and, of course, the ubiquitous thirst-quenching tinto de verano. The promenade also links up to Puerto Banus and it is possible to walk all the way to Marbella along the sea front.

Don't expect any wild nightlife. A night out typically consists of a meal and a few drinks at a local bar - although there are a couple of salsa clubs- or a moonlight stroll along the beach promenade. If you're looking for a big party night, Marbella and Puerto BanĂșs are a short drive away.

For sporting activities, there are many options. The Nueva Alcantara padel and tennis club has 11 paddle courts and 4 tennis courts. The adjacent residential area of Guadalmina is also known for its well-kept golf courses. If you just want to hit a few balls, try the Guadalmina public driving range (Located close to the BarcelĂł Hotel). For a bit more action for the kids, the Cable Ski Marbella, next to the driving range, offers wakeboard, kneeboard, and water-ski lessons. The road to Ronda starts at San Pedro so experienced cyclists can enjoy a challenging but beautiful ride.

Amazing house, good hostess and very nice location! The area is calmly and very safe. The pool area is perfect for everyone, family and friends. The hosts always responded quickly to emails and questions! We really enjoyed it!

We had a lovely stay at the house. The location is perfect, everything you need is in the house including comfy beds. Only thing we could have done with was sun loungers by the pool.

I find it difficult to believe 6 people could live in this property comfortably. We were 4 adults in 3 bedrooms. The living accommodation and dining facilities would be difficult for 6 adults. Odours from the drains were pervasive at various times of the day. The house is tired and in need of an upgrade.

Review of our stay at Guadalvill accommodation

It was very easy to make the reservation online. The representatives were very accommodating and answered questions quickly. Accessing the key worked great. It was a very nice woman who showed us around the house and how everything worked. The house was clean and fresh and really cozy with all its terraces. It was three bathrooms with shower and toilets on every each of them, which were good. When we were going home, our flight was delayed, and Take a Break was great and arranged for us to have access to the house for a few extra hours. We can strongly recommend Take a Break and we give them our very highest rating.

We have been so impressed with Take a break rentals! Thomas and Colleen were both absolutely brilliantly throughout the process. Very helpful, professional and efficient. The property we stayed in was perfect. It was clean and had everything we needed for a fantastic family holiday. We've already booked again for next year. I would highly recommend this company!

Fantastic little house!

Wow, what a charming, clean(!) and cosy house - with actually 7 levels! 1/ Ground: kitchen with outdoor area and big nice gas bbq 2/ Hallway + small bedroom + bathroom 3/ Master bedroom + bathroom 4/ Another master bedroom + bathroom 5/ Terrace with dining area + big outdoor shower 6/ Terrace with sofa and view over the area and to the sea and 7/ Finally a sundeck with mattresses All the beds extremely comfortable, sheets pressed and exclusive, throughout the house nice interior details to make our stay magic. Also, worth noted is the serviceminded respons from Colleen when we first had to postpone our first trip in June/20 due to C19, and then an ongoing contact when we could come down instead, several email with status of Marbella etc. Also when finally on site, one of the showers had problems - Thomas fixed this with plumbers within a day! Thank you so much Colleen and Thomas! Hope to come back soon! :-) Non applicable. :-)
