Great rooftop view!

I stayed here with 2 of my buddies and found the unit to be a bit squishy for 3 guys, but overall it was a nice place to stay! The kitchen was small but well equipped with the necessary pots and pans for cooking meals, which we did most nights. Having a market a few minutes walk away was a huge bonus! As was having the bus stop to Amalfi at the bottom of the stairs! The view from the rooftop balcony was definitely the highlight of the stay, which make the stairs worth it! Elena was very attentive and helpful with any questions we had! Especially when it came to trying to catch a bus to Amalfi. When the buses didn’t arrive she suggested a cab driver who drove us for a very reasonable price. One thing to note is the stairs! There’s definitely a lot of stairs from the main road, but the view really does make it worth the trek! There is also no washing machine, but rather an outdoor sink where you can wash your clothes. Overall very minor inconveniences given the view and the location to Amalfi!

Make sure you pack light.

Stani and Elena were very attentive hosts. Stani met us and drove us from Napoli for an additional fair fee, and was very helpful taking us to the VRBO. Elena immediately responded when we had a question about turning on the cooktop. The VRBO has the excellent view as displayed on the pictures, but requires you to take 139 steps up in order to arrive at the front door. Stani was kind and help carry a suitcase and another bag of ours when we first arrived. The linens were clean, and the photos are accurate. Keep in mind the kitchen is small and includes a bar fridge, a cooktop with 2 burners, and a kitchen sink with cold water only. The place was very cozy for two people. My wife and I slept apart as the bed was small. The bathroom was nice, clean, and located on the main level. The VRBO has a washing machine located outside on the roof top. We took advantage of this and hung our laundry outside. Speaking of the rooftop, the view from there is remarkable. The location of the vrbo was very good. It is a 7 minute walk to the grocery store, and the bus to Amalfi is right below the unit. Thank you again to Elena and Stani for their graciousness.

The best experience!

This property was perfect for my solo trip to Italy. The hosts stayed in contact with me leading up to my arrival. Stani picked me up from the train station and helped explain how to get around the entire Amalfi coast then helped me get settled into the apartment. It has the best views from the terrace for drinking morning coffee or sitting outside with wine and pizza. It was super cozy and so peaceful. I would definitely recommend staying here and would love to stay again when I visit Italy again.

Lovely house in Conca dei Marini with a beautiful view of Amalfi from the balcony.

We stayed here for a week and were very pleased with our choice, both of Elena and Stani's house, and Conca dei Marini. Elena, Stani and their friend, Antonella, couldn't have been more helpful or considerate. Elena helped me with our travel arrangements from Naples (train to Salerno, then ferry to Amalfi) where we were met by their friend Antonella, who got the bus with us to Conca, and checked us in. Antonella was lovely, and helped us several times during the holiday. Stani visited us soon after our arrival to make sure everything was okay, and to provide us with local information and advice. He also brought us some delicious local cheese, and a basket of fresh figs. The house was lovely, and was equipped with everything we needed, including air conditioning and WiFi, and the balcony is a lovely place to sit and admire the views of Amalfi and the coast. Conca itself is a pleasant, relaxing place that provides an excellent base for exploring the Amalfi Coast, but, as others have said, be prepared for the steps. In conclusion, if you want a quiet, relaxing base to explore the Amalfi Coast, with delightful hosts, I would strongly recommend you stay at Elena and Stani's house.
