Great property for exploring the Mendip Hills in Somerset as well as many attractions including Cheddar Gorge and the Roman city of Bath.. 3 steps to entrance.

Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed Ensuite: Toilet (Only)
Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. Enclosed side garden with garden furniture. Private car park, for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: The garden is bordered on one side by a leated stream, separated by a fence. There are 2 steps up to the garden.. This spacious semi-detached cottage is an ideal base for those wanting to explore the historical city of Wells. Itâs situated on the main road on the outskirts of Wells, as you approach from Glastonbury. Youâll be in the centre of the city in just over a mile where youâll find the high street, shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. A visit to Wells Cathedral and the Bishops Palace is a must. There is also a leisure centre with indoor swimming pool. Market days are Wednesday and Saturday and there are two supermarkets within 10 minutesâ walk.
Local places to visit include the mystical town of Glastonbury, famous for its ruined abbey, Rural Life Museum and Glastonbury Tor. It is worth the walk where the views from the top are spectacular across the Vale of Avalon. Street with its Clarks Village Outlet Shopping Centre. For a great day out visit Wookey Hole Caves and Paper Mill, or Cheddar Caves and famous Cheddar Gorge.
Further attractions all within an hourâs drive are Weston-Super-Mare, Grand Pier and the Sea Aquarium, Longleat Safari Park, Yeovilton Fleet Air Museum and the West Somerset Steam Railway. Not forgetting the World Heritage city of Bath, with its abbey, Royal Crescent and Roman Baths. Bristol is also under an hourâs drive, with galleries and shopping centres. Beach 21 miles. Shop 200 yards, pubs and restaurants Âœ mile.
