Smidden Wen was a great holiday stay, it had everything we needed, it was great space, good location and beds were comfy. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect Location

This property was a perfect location for our stay in Anglesey. Within easy walking distance to Beaumaris, it was spotlessly clean and well presented. The owners were responsive and very helpful and friendly

Great property, great loacation

We really enjoyed our stay recently, really clean property and everything we needed provided. Only a couple of minutes walk away from the centre of Beaumaris . So good we've already booked again for September.

Lovely holiday home

Well equipped holiday bungalow in perfect location. Up quiet lane with private car parking but just a short walk to town. Good sized rooms with plenty of storage space.

Great place, very convenient for Beaumaris

Property is well maintained and well equiped and owner was very friendly and helpful. Had a good sunday lunch in the Liverpool Arms and its worth exploring the back streets of Beaumaris for the Bakery and all the independwnr shops. You are never far from some great places: Newbourough Forest, Nan-t-Pandy Red Squirrel Reserve, Benlech Beach, being just a few we visited.

Peaceful, convenient location

We loved this cottage. The location was quiet but only 5 minutes walk into town and to the beach. There was loads of room for the 4 of us including a large kitchen and front room. Also a very useful utility room for boots and coats.

Short Break

Lovely short break with my mum and daughter. Based ourselves at Beaumaris so we could visit relatives. The house was clean, spacious and really well equipped

Excellent accommodation within easy access to Beaumaris town

The accommodation was excellent, exceeded our expectations and was spotlessly clean and tidy. Our elderly parents with limited mobility had easy access to all of the property and the children enjoyed the games and DVDs which were available. The cottage was within very easy walking distance of the centre of Beaumaris. Would highly recommend a stay in this beautiful location.

Lovely property in good location

This is a well situated property - within a short walk of town centre and the sea. The property is well maintained and owner was very easy to contact and liaise with. It has all the equipment you would likely need . No particular views but ,In short, - very good.

Beautiful bungalow

Simdee Wen is the cleanest and most well equipped holiday home we have ever stayed in. The bungalow is spacious and meets your every need. Maria the host is lovely, nothing is too much trouble. I would highly recommend this bungalow for a holiday. Can’t wait to stay next year!!

Beautiful Beaumaris

Well laid out with all rooms of a central hall. Well equipped kitchen and useful utility room. Comfortable, large sitting/dining room with plenty of seating. There is an outside area with a table and it is was a real suntrap when we stayed in early September. It is in a lovely quiet, tucked-away area just a few minutes walk from the town.

Simidde Wen

We had a most enjoyable stay at the bungalow. The location is superb and within easy walking distance of the town which has a great selection of eateries and watering holes. We found the Liverpool arms to be excellent and also the Indian restaurant in Church road. The facilities in the bungalow were spot on and it was extremely clean and homely. We were able to explore the island and found the beach at Newborough and the nature reserve with its herd of wild horses wonderful. We also visited the museum and geology shop at Stone Science which we found most interesting. Bangor and Snowdonia are within easy driving distance and we were able to visit the Mountains and partake in a bit of strenuous exercise a good excuse for crossing the Menai Straits on one of the 2 bridges always an enjoyable experience. So all in all an excellent holiday can highly recommend.

Highly recommended

Excellent property. Even my wife couldn’t find fault (and she’s very good at finding fault). Super clean and tidy, really spacious, great location. A couple of things which you can’t tell from the online description: it’s spotless, there’s loads of space (certainly for a family of 5), there are 2 fridges and a sizeable freezer (some descriptions say ‘’freezer compartment’ but it’s bigger than that), great Wi-Fi, tv, dvd (so bring your favourites from home).

Wonderful place to stay, spotlessly clean, excellent facilities and perfect location. This is what makes a holiday. The Town is lovely with plenty of great places to eat. Will definitely be returning. Doreen and Rob.

Great property

A clean, comfortable bungalow in a handy location in a pretty seaside village. Lots to do and see within easy reach. Stunning views, great hosts, we may well be back for a longer stay.
