A restored centuries-old building, full of soul and character.
Set in the heart of historic Alfama, Lisbon’s most authentic neighbourhood and just steps from many of the city’s best-known monuments.
Ideal for families and groups, this property includes two independent apartments in the same building, both exclusively reserved for your group:
• Ground floor, with a separate entrance: one bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom and private patio.
The upper apartment is arranged over three floors, connected by an open internal staircase.
• First floor: spacious bedroom suite and bathroom.
• Second floor: two bedrooms and one bathroom.
• Third floor: a living room, fully equipped kitchen and terrace, the perfect setting for breakfast, sunset drinks or a peaceful evening. A few additional steps lead to a private lookout with breathtaking views over the Tagus River and Alfama’s iconic rooftops.
Bathed in natural light, the interiors are rich in traditional Portuguese character. Large windows, classic iron balconies, decorative ceilings, vintage furniture, Portuguese tiles, golden details and crystal chandeliers create a distinctive and welcoming atmosphere.
Original oil paintings appear throughout the property, from canvases to painted furniture. Lines from poems, song lyrics and traditional fado add a unique touch, creating an immersive setting inspired by art, music and literature.
Bed linen, towels, shampoo, shower gel, hand soap and body lotion are provided. Amenities include Wi-Fi, cable TV, air conditioning, a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, coffee machine, toaster and hairdryer. The apartment is also equipped with an alarm system and a safe.
Self check-in is available, with access codes sent before arrival. Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request, subject to availability, at no extra cost.
Please note that the apartment is arranged over several floors connected by open staircases and has no lift. It is therefore not suitable for guests with reduced mobility and may not be suitable for young children.
The property is located on a narrow pedestrian-only street. The nearest taxi or ride-hailing drop-off point is in front of the Fado Museum, approximately a 3-minute walk away.

Fantastic find!
This property was so lovely and Ana was fantastic! highly recommend it - and great for bigger groups (we stayed in the two bed room apartment and friends stayed next door in the other one bed and eight bed apartments)!!

Our family had an amazing time in Lisbon and our accommodations felt luxurious and welcoming. One of the best places we have stayed, host was responsive and accommodating when we needed. Lovely resting place while visiting the city

Excellent location, great place to stay
I cannot say enough about the area and the accommodations. Ana was super helpful and communicative about all the details. The space was in the middle of everything, super clean, modern and well equipped. We had a group of five and it was perfect for us all.

Ana and her sister were so accommodating. Three couples and good space. Beautifully decorated and they were very responsive to questions. Amazing what they did in remodeling.

Beautiful, suite with loads of character
Four of us enjoyed staying right in the historic Alfama neighborhood and in this lovely apartment. Good location, close to the sites and the water. Ana, the property owner was very attentive and made sure we had a smooth check in and answered any of our questions. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay there again.

Great base from which to explore Lisbon
Our multi-generational group enjoyed our stayed in the 2 apartments. Ana was a terrific host - she was very responsive and ensured that we had the necessary extras for our infant granddaughter. The apartments were clean and well-equipped. The beds were super comfortable! This was a great base in Alfama from which to explore Lisbon and beyond.

Living in Alfama neighborhood of Lisbon for 5 days really exposed us to the lifestyle - great experience in a great apartment in a great location. Spaces in apartments very accommodating! Don’t hesitate!

Perfect location
We had a pleasant stay in a beautifully renovated and decorated apartment located in a historic district close to shops, restaurants and touristic activities.
Ana is the best host as you can get. Always ready to handle and answer any questions you may have.

Great location and place!
The place was fantastic and the perfect location for us. There were good restaurants and shopping close by and it was easy to find our way around the neighborhood. Ana was fantastic. We arrived in Lisbon way before our check-in time, but since no one was staying in the place prior to our visit, Ana was able to let us check-in early. The place was easily to find, the check-in process was great, and the place was clean. I would definitely recommend the place to anyway one visiting Lisbon.

Amazing property
The apartments and location couldn't have been more perfect for our family of 7. Bodegas and restaurants are within easy walking distance and the Fado museum is the perfect uber pick up spot. The apartment is well equipped,
very clean and modern with an old world touch. There is street/people noise but part of the experience.
Ana the host was super responsive and very welcoming. Highly recommend!!!

Spectacular Apartment in Alfama
Apartment was well designed and especially enjoyed learning about its renovation (well done!) It was centrally located in Alfama to public transportation, restaurants, markets and bakeries (almost directly across from the apartment for those longing for a morning Ginja and pastel de nata). Close to many of the tourist sites, just a short walk or taxi drive away. Ana was very responsive to any questions we had. Strongly recommend this apartment!!

Great place in Alfama
We had an amazing stay in this apartment, location was terrific for us. The apartment was very clean, great showers, Ana was very helpful and offered a late check-out which was super helpful. The arrangement of the spaces is unusual, in that the rooms are all in one building stacked vertically, with the bottom bedroom at street level and the other two accessed from a separate stair next door on the second and third floors; each bedroom/floor has its own bathroom. The top floor has the communal space and the larger kitchen and roof deck; the lower bedroom has a small patio and a small kitchen.This arrangement worked for us. But could be a challenge for some groups of travelers. Overall it was a great place to stay for a few days in Lisbon!
