You can start a bike ride right from our doorstep along the canal all the way to Damme or Bruges. A bike ride to Sluis or Cadzand is also an option. De Blinker is located about 20 km from the sea, 12 km from Sluis, 20 km from Bruges, and 35 km from Ghent. In the village, there’s a cozy brasserie where you can sit on the terrace or enjoy a light snack, but there are also plenty of charming little restaurants in the surrounding area. In the summer, the region hosts numerous flea markets. A leisurely stroll through the narrow alleys of Sluis or a walk along the ramparts makes for a lovely evening activity.
