Välkommen till Blue Pearl Cottage, ett vackert, soligt strandhus, bara några minuter från fantastiska stränder, djurliv och det pittoreska centrum av Chincoteague. Denna luftiga stuga som ligger bredvid tallskogar har ett stort omslagdäck, en veranda och erbjuder privatliv och tyst, med alla bekvämligheter i hemmet. Naturalister kommer att älska djurlivet - hökar och kolibrier från däcken. Den har tre sovrum och två badrum, smakfull inredning, trägolv i hela. Vandra till slutet av vägen för att nå Assateague Channel, med utsikt över myren till fyren. En kort bilresa eller cykeltur bort är Assateague Island, utsedd som en national strand och helt outvecklad. Ön erbjuder oöverträffade möjligheter att simma, sola, vandra, cykla, fiska, gå crabbing och surfa. Vi har lämnat crabbing nät och surfbrädor för att du ska njuta av vattnet. Eller använd kikaren för att titta på de vilda poniesna, Great Blue Herons, pelikaner och många andra södra fåglar och slappna av på en fantastiskt vacker strand. Great home away from home!

The home was well equipped with your basic needs in the kitchen. The view of the wildlife in the yard was exceptional to watch. The family of deer was an added plus! Comfortable bedding and spacious. The only complaint is the AC unit was acceptable for late August, but if temperatures rises above 90 degrees the house would not be cool. The temperature control could not be lowered past the required set point. Overall, I would recommend this home to others and would stay again in early June or late August.

Nice and quiet place

We got some problem with the fridge and the freezer during our stay, wich was took in charge by the location company, wasn’t really fun too deal with but we are statisfied how Harbor took it in charge. Also, aunts problems, an other time Harbour had been resolved the problem. We appreciate our trip over all !

Beach Stay

The property is close to all amenities and to Assateague Island for the beach. There are very little cable channels and no smart TV, so it’s good to have tablets if that’s important to you.

Weekend Getaway in Chincoteague

The house had an odor but I assume that was from not being lived in.Overall everything you needed was in house. Very convenient to everything and a nice little street.

Quiet wooded convenient location on Chincoteague

Quiet, wooded lot with feeling of privacy. Conveniently located near downtown Chincoteague, restaurants and other sites of interest, including the beach, Assateague Island, NASA Visitor Center, etc. Liked being here just before summer began. Would be good to tell visitors if had not been rented recently that the initial sulfur smell of the water upon arrival dissipates quickly.

Nice cute house by the lighthouse

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time at blue pearl cottage. The house is cute, with everything we needed. The furniture have a lot of cachet, the decoration is charming, however the kitchen could benefit for some update. But for the price it was totally ok.We especially appreciate the screened porch, as the house is located in a shadowed area, by the swamps, so surrounded by mosquitoes. We have been able to enjoy nice evenings.Overall the house cleaning was ok (kitchen and bathroom) but a lot of dog hair were spread on the terrace, and inside the house. It was also a little dusty. Forks and knives were not clean, we hat to wash them all again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 2nd stay @ this lovely location. As always Harbor Rentals had everything clean, tidy and ready for us and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to enjoy some good seafood meals! The only negatives, The furniture could use some help, the kitchen chairs are a bit rickety, not very sturdy and the living room furniture is not very comfortable for relaxing/lounging on after a full day of fun in the sun...or a rainy day. Window coverings on the front windows would really be nice too since after dark you can see everything in the house from the street.

The screened porch was a nice place to relax and the interior mid century modern furnishings were nostalgic and comfortable. The cottage was very pleasant for a relaxed weekend. No major frills but just what we needed. It was just the two of us and our dog but a family of six would have plenty of space. Harbour Rentals were great to work with and we will use them again!

It is a great location; we had ample room for everyone. The ensuite bath has a slow draining sink, which might need attention. The screened in porch is nice; could use a good cleaning, but overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great stay at the Blue Pearl Cottage!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Love, Love, Love the house and its amenities. Great Location!! Close to everything. Our only issue was with the window coverings or lack their of. Nothing on the front windows...fine during the day but when lights are on inside at night with no curtains you are exposed to the world. ALSO the master BDR and the one across the hall are exposed to a motion detection light from a neighbor and the venation blinds do NOT BLOCK the blinking light nor the sunrise in the morning, it streams in the Master BDR & bath windows in the rear of the house. Making it hard to sleep-in on vacation. All this being said...WE LOVED STAYING AT THE BLUE PERAL COTTAGE! We will return again....and again!

The large enclosed porch is an excellent way to experience the outdoors without being eaten up. At the same time the central air conditioning is very quiet and comfortable. We would say however some of the interior furnishing could use some updating. The futon should be replaced with a real bed that would fit in the room, and one of the two twin bed mattresses needs replacing. The living room furniture is also less than optimal. The owner should throw in a gas grill that would be nice to have. If possible a dishwasher should be installed, but it’s not a dealbreaker.The location has a lot going for it, being a nice looking block and well located.

Peaceful island Retreat

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is spacious, bright and very comfortable. The beds were also comfortable. Loved the screen porch ms spent a lot of time out there. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment for preparing meals. The outside deck area could have been swept of cobwebs. There was also no outdoor working faucet which would be useful for washing feet to minimizing dragging sand in house. The location was convenient to everything, lovely marsh and lighthouse view at the end of the street. Very quiet and private, we had two cute deer visit the yard one morning and it was fun to see. The island has a lot to offer, great food choices. The national park and beach were by far the star attraction. The beach is fabulous and very easy to get to. Would recommend location for a relaxing vacation.

Worked Well for a Family of 4

This was a good fit for 2 adults, 2 kids under 5, and a crate trained dog not requiring a fence. Cleanliness could have been improved and kitchen gear was used hard. 5 minutes to anywhere on the island by car but not super walkable to town bc of narrow streets. Great escape for us for a week. The app was also helpful.

A Pearl of a rental

We love this house. It's so comfortable, the big windows let in so much light and natural beauty, the location is great, and it's well equipped. We'll be back for another week in August and can't wait!

Perfect getaway
