Villa Alkiona is all about the glorious sea views. Not just from the infinity pool and dining terrace, but also from the open plan living room and all four bedrooms. Each bedroom has an ensuite and private balcony where guests can sit and relax. The bedrooms and living room have air conditioning/heating and the villa has satellite tv and WiFi.
Villa is situated on a private track, a short drive from the beach, bars and tavernas of Skala.

Wonderful villa with views

Beautiful villa - hidden up a mountain - all the comforts you need and a wonderful pool with amazing views. The goats dotted around the mountain add to the feeling of remoteness. Definitely need a car and a confident driver as the roads are very steep. Spoilt for choice with wonderful beaches and many many tavernas within 15 minutes drive. Hazel was great and very responsive when some help was needed fixing the pool pump.

The views are amazing. The seclusion was perfect. The road to the villa requires a confident driver but it is worth it. The drive to Skala is less than ten minutes so really quick to go to the shops or restaurants. The villa was spotless. The beds were really comfy. A couple of things went wrong while we were at the villa but Hazel and Fotis got things fixed really quickly so what could have been a big deal wasn't a big deal. The kitchen would benefit from some updates. There were a lot of wasps while we there.

Family Holiday

Fabulous property with stunning views. The pool was great for afternoon swimming and the pool table and table tennis were an added bonus. The local taverna, 5 minute drive away served tasty local dishes. The daily visit by the goats and sheep were interesting to watch, we understood why the gates needed to be locked! Hazel was very helpful and very approachable. Hire car is essential and Skala, a 10 minute drive away has everything you need including an outstanding Gelato stop. Thank you for a wonderful unforgettable family holiday, we all fell in love with Kefalonia (especially the Loggerhead turtles)

Fantastic Villa with spectacular view

This villa is about 15 minutes drive away from Skala up in the mountains. It is well laid out with good sized bedrooms with en suites. The air conditioning is good and it is well equipped. The local Taverna is a short walk away and serves lovely food. Any problems with the villa were sorted immediately. The town of Skala has a large number of bars and restaurants, so a car is essential. If you like peace and quiet and not being over looked this is the place for you. We highly recommend this villa.

Wonderful views

The villa is lovely, perfect for a family of 7, very clean, lovely views, great pool. We arrived in the dark and the villa was really difficult to find. You definitely need a car, Skala is really lovely but not walking distance. We went in July and the wasps were really annoying, lots of them buzzing around the pool, apparently they like chlorinated water, 3 members of our group got stung. Good communicatiin with the hosts, reported a problem with the air con and it was fixed within 24 hours. Overall we had a great holiday.

Il silenzio in cima alla collina

Siamo un gruppo di amici che ha trascorso a Villa Alkiona una settimana ad agosto. La casa è molto bella e comoda, con quattro spaziose stanze ognuna con il proprio bagno e terrazzino. Zanzariere e condizionatori in tutta la casa. La cucina è ben attrezzata. La piscina a sfioro è fantastica e il panorama è bellissimo. Per arrivarci si percorre da Skala una strada in salita di circa 3,5 km che porta in cima alla collina, si incontrano altre ville ma sono distanti, quindi si sta praticamente nel nulla, in compagnia di capre e pecore che scorazzano spesso nei dintorni. La strada è a tratti bianca ma praticabile. Abbiamo trascorso una bellissima settimana.
