A charming and cosy lodge situated in the rolling mid Wales countryside, perfect for a truly relaxing escape.. 4 steps to entrance.
All on the Ground Floor:
Open plan living space.
Living area: 32" Smart TV, Sky, DVD Player, Woodburner
Dining area.
Kitchen area: Gas Hob, Rayburn, Microwave, Fridge, Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine
Bedroom: Double (4ft 6in) Bed, 19" Freeview TV, Sky, DVD Player
Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and fuel for wood burner included. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Welcome pack. External bedroom with double bed, wood burner and wooden floor. . Garden with sitting-out area, garden furniture, firepit and gas BBQ. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: The second bedroom is not attached to the house, does not have electricity and is heated by a wood burner only - not suitable for winter.. The Mamgu Lodge is a lovingly and tastefully furnished lodge situated in the stunning rural landscape of Mochdre, mid Wales. With a rustic and charming design and bags of character this lodge is the perfect retreat, where you can relax and wind down completely.
Whatever the weather, The Mamgu Lodge is designed with guestsâ comfort in mind. Why not sit in front of the roaring wood burner in comfort and watch your favourite film, or cook up a storm with the wood-fired Rayburn. If the sun is shining you can dine al fresco and take in the breathtaking views, followed by a soak in the hot tub as the sun goes down and the stars come out. Whether you want to stay in and enjoy everything the lodge has to offer or youâd rather venture out and explore, then The Mamgu Lodge is ideal for you.
Centrally located you can easily access the west coast of Wales or even head over the border into England to explore the Shropshire Hills. If youâd prefer to stay more local, why not enjoy the Mid Wales Art Gallery and Sculpture Park or have a drink and some food at one of the many pubs and restaurants on offer in Newtown.
The Mamgu Lodge is filled with inviting and cosy furnishings to truly make your stay as comfortable as possible. After a day of exploring or full of relaxation, retire to one of the comfortable bedrooms. The master bedroom boasts a TV for some late night watching and the separate Bothy bedroom is ideal for those wanting to experience a night closer to nature. This bedroom has no electricity and is heated by a wood burner only, offering a truly cosy and more natural sleeping experience. Wind down and have a peaceful nightâs rest in this tranquil and beautiful location. Shop 1Ÿ miles, pub Âœ and restaurant 2Âœ miles.
