This studio-style pod rests in Maerdy near Corwen and can sleep four people in one bedroom.

Woodland Pod is a fantastic wooden pod on a private complex, surrounded by countryside in Maerdy near Corwen in North Wales. The pod offers studio-style accommodation for four guests, with a double bed and bunk beds and a seating area, as well as, a shower room and a kitchen/diner. Outside, there is off-road parking available, plus a decking area with seating private hot tub and a firepit, where you can enjoy the views. Woodland Pod is a fantastic North Wales rural escape.

Amenities: Electric heating. Combi microwave/oven, electric hob, fridge/freezer. TV with Freesat and WiFi. Hair dryer. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off-road parking. Decking area with seating, woodburning hot tub(£20 Supplement payable), firepit/BBQ with utensils. Additional £32 charge for logs. Up to 2 well behaved dogs (please keep off the furniture). Dog wash on site. Access to large surrounding lawn/land. Shop 6 miles, pub 2.5 miles. Note: Please mind your head on the pod entrance door. Great location and pod, dodgy pricing

A great location and place to be yourselves for exploring North Wales.I booked via Vrbo but then had an email from Sykes cottages threatening that my booking will be canceled if i didn't pay an additional amount. I didn't want this to happen so created a Sykes account and paid it. I contacted the host via Vrbo for clarifications who claims they never got these messages.I was also made to pay for wood via the booking as it wasn't an 'optional extra.' The hot tub wasn't lit, but got resolved after arrival by two very friendly and helpful guys.Inside there was no inventory so don't know how many of each thing should there have been. All appliances worked fine. The kettle holds just enough water for two cups. The microwave have some rust spots inside. The TV antenna wasn't connected but I managed to fix it so that my 8 year old can watch some TV at night. The USB ports on the socket is not working but managed. The frame of the bathroom window is, understandably a bit moldy. Because the rafters are open, birds do get in and you need to clean droppings off the floor and surfaces. That aside, the place itself is great and we enjoyed the break. The view is wonderful and peaceful. When you have the hot tub going at night you can truly relax and connect with nature. I would recommend the place. But be wary that the price you see on Vrbo may not be the price you pay in the end due to the issue with Sykes cottages, and may not get the key codes and ckeckin ifo.created an account

Great base for our dog walking holiday

Lovely cabin, very clean and hot tub was lovely too, don’t be put off by how long it takes to heat on the first go, all the days after we’re much quicker to hear it up. The setting was perfect lovely views and the dogs loved it. Was glad I had taken their long lines so they could have a little freedom as the have to be on leads on site. Some lovely walks near by and the perfect place to come back and relax in after. We will be back I am certain!
