Garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: There are 3 steps in the garden.. Hilltop - East Wing is a delightful and cosy cottage situated on the fringes of Newton Stewart, the gateway to the Galloway Hills. The views really are special, no more so than in the evening while the sun is setting. Hilltop - East Wing is attractively decorated throughout with its open plan living/dining/kitchen and cosy bedroom with en-suite shower room. Just perfect for two, Hilltop - East Wing is attached to the ownerâs home and is only a short walk from the centre of Newton Stewart and its many excellent shops, restaurants and bars.
There is lots to see and do in the surrounding area. The Galloway Forest Park, Britainâs largest forest park with 300 square miles of wild beauty, waiting to be explored, is on your doorstep. Awarded the status of only one of four Dark Sky Parks and a Unesco World Heritage Site, there is no better place to discover the sky at night! In daylight you can also enjoy the wonders of the tranquil valleys, forest, moorland, lochs and a huge diversity of wildlife including red and roe deer, wild goats and many birds of prey. The area really does have something for everyone from walking, cycling, golfing and fishing to name but a few. Take a drive along the Machars Peninsula and explore the beautiful and exotic gardens, many rocky coves, sandy beaches and quaint little villages. Hilltop - East Wing is ideally situated to explore the beauty of this delightful area. Beach 14 miles. Shop Ÿ mile, pub and restaurant Âœ mile.
