Charming Casa Blanc

We have stayed in Lucca many times in the past in various locations throughout the centro Storico. This beautiful apartment was located a little further from the city center than we have previously experienced, but the location was great nonetheless. Although it was a busy street, we heard very little noise in the dining room and the bedroom, which faced a small courtyard, was totally silent. We would definitely stay in Casa Blanc again. Although Casa Blanc had a dedicated washroom with a washing machine, there was an excessive amount of vacuum cleaners, and supplies. We found it difficult to move around and get to the washing machine because of this.

Apartment in Lucca

Very nice comfortable apartment. Absolutely the perfect size for 2 people. Fantastic location, close to all the shopping, coffee shops and restaurants within the walls of where the apartment is located. Very comfortable lay out. Communication with the property manager was easy and convenient and made the arrival on our first day easy. Would absolutely stay there again in the future if I were fortunate enough to visit again!

Quiet and cozy

Loved our stay here. No long flights of stairs to go up. Clean and comfortable. Cute decor. Bed very comfortable. Would have liked more natural light but otherwise really great.

Perfect location

Our first contacts for the apartment and arrival in Lucca went without issue. Our departure was also quick and efficient. The apartment is in a perfect location for easy access to all Lucca has to offer. including cafes, restaurants, shops and major sites. It is also an easy walk to the train station for any day trips you wish to arrange. The apartment itself is lovely with a comfortable bed, lovely lounge and bathroom with a very large rain shower. The kitchen has everything you need and there is a very good washing machine. Everything is modern and efficient. Also enjoy your next-door neighbour a wonderful Pasticceria.

We found the communication with the office was very good, but with the person dealing with us as manager of the property it was very poor. We followed all the instructions for checking in, text and phone to the property manager. Tried to phone her several times to tell her we were waiting at the door but got no reply. She then arrived. The initial visual impression of the apartment was very good, however, when we opened the door, there is a very, very strong unpleasant smell of damp The bedroom was very damp. It should’ve been aired before our arrival. The property manager indicated that there had been a flood a few weeks before. We were not warned of this. There were no toiletries at all. No basic starter pack of anything in the kitchen. No dishcloths, tea towel or anything to wipe surfaces. We called the property manager who indicated the toiletries should’ve been there. She advised that she would be back with toiletries, within an hour. After several phone calls, nearly 3 hours later, she came back with a complimentary box of toiletries. When checking out we messaged and phoned the property manager several times to ask for the check out procedure but received no reply and the phone was not answered. We contacted the office who responded immediately and were very extremely helpful. we spent the whole week with the windows open airing the apartment substantially reducing the smell of damp. Its a great little apartment if you sort out the damp

Lucca Holiday

The apartment was located on the edge of the town which was fine - it was easy to walk in within a few minutes. Being on the ground floor, it was quite dark and there wasn't a huge amount of natural light. Bed very comfortable and the shower was good. It's not as spacious as it appears from the photos, but overall it was a good stay and the management were helpful.

Beautiful Setting

Wonderful old area. Very clean and well equipped. Enjoyed the wall - walking and biking. Our only hitch was waiting for someone to meet us as planned. Luckily there was a bakery next door as we had to wait for over an hour. We had already confirmed the time. Things worked out and our stay was memorable.

Lovely apartment

Lovely apartment and great location, just a little out of town centre so nice and quiet at night but only a few minutes walk to nearest restaurant and shops. Also delicious coffee, sandwiches and cakes from next door every morning!

beautiful apartment in a great location

Beautiful apartment and fully equipped. In a great location, the bakery beside serves great coffee and pastries. Sidrak and team has been very responsive and helpful. Just a side note the walk from the train station with big luggage is really not advisable. The pathway is filled with sand and small stones and lots of steps and slopes to go across the walls. I felt like I just completed a big work out and was worried if my luggages wheels would be able to further withstand the next couple of weeks of traveling. Just take a taxi from the train station. It will be cheaper than replacing the wheels of your luggages.

Don't miss this one!

This is one of the best places I've ever stayed through Airbnb. This apartment gives the luxurious and charming feel of what it's like to live in Lucca. I loved grocery shopping at Conad's and all the artisan shops nearby. The apartment itself is extremely well-stocked and cohesively and tastefully decorated. Don't miss this one. Sidrak was friendly, generous and responsive throughout my stay.

Lovely location in a lovely town

My husband and I recently stayed 2 weeks in Lucca, using it as a home-base to explore this region of Tuscany, and loved our stay in this apartment. The apartment is small, but large enough for 2 people, comfortable (the bedroom is in the back of the building and is away from any street noise), with all you'll need to make yourself at home. The location is perfect ~ we did not have a car with us and used our feet, rental bikes, and public transportation (the train is so close) to get around. But we also discovered that just being in Lucca was enough ~ it's such a pretty town, with plenty of interesting sights, good shops and restaurants, and the most amazing selection of pasticcerie! Oh, and so many musical events to enjoy: the Puccini concerts each night were amazing. Our check-in and check-out process was without a hitch, there's plenty of information in the "house binder," and Lucca is super easy to figure out. I highly recommend it. My only "complaint" is there is a small fragrance diffuser that affected my husband's allergies, so we moved it into a cupboard to reduce the smell during our stay. I don't think it was necessary, since there were no bad smells in building and all the windows open for some fresh air (this is just my preference, I'm not much for fragrance). Perfetto, grazie mille!

Very nice apartment!

This apartment is of a very high standard and has everything you would need. It is perfectly located inside the wall and very close to the train station. The apartment is on the ground floor and the windows are quiet small so don't expect a view. If we were going back to Lucca again we would certainly choose this apartment.

We loved our stay in Lucca. I would recommend staying here! It’s clean, quiet, air conditioning is amazing, and the bed is also very comfortable. There is even a coffee place right next door, which couldn’t be more convenient for take away coffee in the AM.
