Big House with Key West Bibe

It was a huge place with a lot of charm. Walking to the beach is a real treat. The house has a lot to offer. The upstairs suite is perfect for family. Loved the stuffed animals for the kids.

Wonderful Old Florida Home

The location is half mile from Manasota Beach which was perfect distance for all of us even the 4-year-old to walk to and back. The house has an above ground pool which was refreshing even in the high heat temperatures experienced this June. The inside of the home has coastal decor and was beautifully clean. Cute accent pieces are placed throughout the home which give the atmosphere a welcoming homey feeling. There are cute stuffed animals and books and games for the kids. The layout of the home with three zones worked perfectly for us. I would definitely recommend and go there again.

Beach House Christmas

Very versatile accommodation, short stroll to the beach (1km), quiet, very pleasant area, light traffic, great area for running BTW.A house in which 12 of us aged 7 to 77, members of 3 families from 3 different countries and cultures never had a cross word in 2 whole weeks!!

Fantastic Beach getaway

A short drive to the beaches and downtown historic Venice for shopping. This house was great for 3 families with children. Plenty of room to hang out and to spread out. Location was nice on a dead end road. This is probably one of the best rentals we’ve stayed at to date.

Fantastic beach vacation!!

Huge house with nicely separated sleeping areas was perfect for our family of 6 adults and 4 children. Furniture and decor were beautiful. Pool was just right for the kids and there were toys and games for all to enjoy. Clean, 3 AC zones and all the kitchen items you might need. Very close to the beach- you could walk if you wanted. I would definitely recommend this home for a large group- we had such a great time!

Great stay for family wedding

We stayed for a week while attending a family wedding in the area. Gwen was a great communicator and responded promptly to all of my questions. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of plates, cups, silverware, and cookware. We used the front porch, back deck, pool, and hot tub daily. The beach was an nice easy walk. We would happily stay at this beachy comfortable home again.

Wonderful family vacation

We have been vacationing in Englewood for 10 years. This year we took the whole family. This property was perfect. There was easily enough room for everyone. The kids loved the pool. It’s on a nice quiet dead end street and walking distance to the beach. I highly recommend this property. Thank you to the property owner/manager. No issues with anything. We loved it!

Perfect.

Property was perfect for our family reunion. We had 6 adults and 6 kids and the sleeping arrangements were just awesome. House was super clean and very well equipped. We wanted for nothing. Gwen was a great host and whatever I asked was answered quickly. Quick walk to Manasota Key Beach and big back yard for the kids. Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed.

Great place for a large group!

Our family came to the area for our son’s wedding in Venice. We had 12 adults and plenty of room for everyone to sleep, hang out, and eat. The home is well-decorated, the kitchen well-stocked, and the bedding and towels are of great quality. It was extremely hot but the house stayed nice and cool with the multi-zone system. Even though the pool is smaller than most, the young adults enjoyed it and all the extra pool toys. There are also lots of beach towels and beach toys, with a really nice beach in the area. If we come this way again with our family, I will check availability here first!

Winter Escape!

This property was the perfect escape from winter! The house is even bigger than we expected and worked perfectly for our group of 4 couples. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the many local beaches, including being able to walk to Manasota Beach from the house. We walked there to watch the sunset many evenings before dinner. The house had everything we needed - a kitchen with all the essentials to cook meals, a nice kitchen table for playing games, and lots of seating in the family room where we watched the Super Bowl. The beds were very comfortable. This house is also a great central location to explore the west coast of Florida - we shopped picturesque Venice Avenue one day, went to the Ringling Museum in Sarasota, and found lots of sharks teeth at the beaches. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Rest and relaxation

Perfect Vacation spot for 5 grown And professional Women. spacious with all the necessary appliances and tools to have drinks and Cook inside. For dawn was very friendly and helpful. The pool was a little cloudy from previous weather but her son and her made every attempt to get it clear. There's only one heads up. There are several lizards and frogs around so have someone who is not to squeamish to help chase away.

Perfect family get away spot

House was exactly what was advertised. Beds were very comfortable. Lots of natural light in the house. Great curtains in the bedrooms allowed you to see outside but not inside. Lots of extra towels and beach bags available. Great backyard for kids to play in. Gwen was quick to respond to concerns. Slight confusion on checking in and out because of multiple sets of instructions(pretty sure that was due to the property switching owners) other than that everything was easily accessible and great. I will say it is more than 5min walk to the beach though

Lovely Home!!

4 female friends rented this home for the month of February, 2020. The house was perfect for us. The decor was beautiful and it had everything we needed to cook and grill meals. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and sitting around the “fire table” on cool nights. The walk to the beach took about 12 minutes. The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors were friendly. The front porch was our favorite place for reading a book. Pickleball courts were 10 minutes away. The owners were very helpful and responded to our questions within 5 minutes. All-in-all, we loved this place and will be staying again next year.

Perfect for our family

We, our children and grandchildren enjoyed the layout of this well-established home with a moments' walk to the beach where we saw a dolphin frolicking while crossing the bridge. When not at the beach, the children enjoyed the pool and the adults, the hot tub. Some fun, memorable dinners created each night in Gwen's fully stocked kitchen, each couple taking their turn cooking. We rented a boat and captain from a local in celebration of a milestone birthday and, later rented a local photographer to capture some fun beach moments. Ran out of toilet paper and garbage bags which created a few unanticipated extra runs to the local grocer (closest, 15 min. drive)...outside of that, it was really a GREAT place to stay! We'd do it again in a heartbeat!

A Bit Disappointing - Not Worth the Money!

Don't plan on using the pool as it is not heated and so cold my grandchildren who swim in the Great Lakes were unable to stay in it. The kitchen was filthy and the dishwasher was so moldy it was unusable. The layout was good and the 5 bedrooms were very nice. If the owners were to heat the pool, replace the dishwasher, hire a competent cleaning crew and plumber for the leaky bathroom faucet this would be a very nice property.

Great home for reunions!

Our family of 12 including children and grandchildren had a wonderful Thanksgiving week. The house has the best lay out of any we have rented so far. So many areas in the home and outside patio are ideal for privacy or gathering for meals and games, or working on puzzles. The kids loved the hot tub, and playing in the yard. The beach was so close, and they were there every day, whether it was Blind pass or Manasota beach close to the house. They were able to fish from the beach and had a great time collecting shark teeth and shells. We prepared our Thanksgiving dinner in the large kitchen, and all other meals during the week. The house was spacious, beautifully decorated and comfortable. All the bedrooms downstairs had their own access to the pool and deck area. There are multiple thermostats to ensure comfortable temperatures. Plenty of towels for bath and beach, as well as chairs and beach toys for children. We were very pleased with this property as it is difficult to find a home to accommodate all of us . We would love to book again!

Family Vacation to Manasota Key FL

The house is a perfect layout for a family who are mostly adults spanning three generations. Three bedrooms and the living and kitchen areas open to a deck covered by a lanai. It is a great gathering area, and the kitchen and dining room are adjacent so that it accommodates the whole family eating together as we celebrated birthdays and a 50-year anniversary. Upstairs can be closed off and has two more bedrooms, another TV and gathering area, and a bath. There is a large, fenced back yard that is fun for yard games. A few of our family walked to the beach but most drove. It is a quiet neighborhood and very close to Venice and shopping. The only negative is the above ground pool which is fairly small. However, the positives outweighed that and there is a jacuzzi, which we did not use, but would be great in cooler weather. The beaches are wonderful, especially Blind Pass beach. Not commercial at all with beautiful clear water and white sand. Great location to look for shells and pre-historic shark's teeth. The owner was so helpful and friendly! Overall, we loved it!

WOW WOW WOW

Every single family member that walked through the door said WOW! The sea decor in every room was beautiful. We went down to celebrate Serbian Christmas and Gwen had a little Christmas tree up for us. It was the perfect touch to sit all of the gifts around it. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. (Make sure the bedrooms are assigned before you arrive or there will be a fight over who gets the Master. It’s amazing.) The downstairs living area’s couch was large enough to fit 8 of our 12 guests which was perfect to watch the Pens play hockey, while the upstairs living area was great for the kids to hang out. Plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen is stocked with everything needed to cook big meals and there is plenty of seating between the dining and kitchen areas. Hot tub was perfect for the adults while the kids swam in the pool. Enough pool towels for everyone. Lots of pool toys, beach toys, chairs and beach umbrella are all available. The beach is about 3 minutes away with lots of sharks teeth. Gwen thought of everything. She responds quickly to questions and is very attentive. This was our 5th year celebrating in Florida and by far this is the best home away from home. We will definitely be staying here when we are in Florida.
