Clos Mirabel Manor House Apartment
The Manor House Apartment is located within the Manor House and has its own private entrance. It has a light modern feel and was designed by an Italian architect.
The apartment is over 3 levels connected by a spiral staircase. It has a fully equipped kitchen-diner on the ground floor. The lounge is on the middle floor with TV. The upper floor comprises a mezzanine level with twin beds which leads to a double bedroom and bathroom.
There is a separate WC on the ground floor and shared laundry room facility in an adjacent building.
The apartment has Air Conditioning, Wifi and Free Parking.
Guests staying in the Manor House Apartment have access to the shared grounds and pool. The pool is outdoors and is open May - October.
BBQ equipment, outdoor dining area and garden furniture are available.
Due to the configuration of the apartment it is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility or small children.
The Clos Mirabel Estate is set amidst the gentle hills of Jurançon in 15 acres of private parkland. The shared seasonal outdoor pool, grounds and terrace offer breathtaking views out over vineyards to the complete mountain range of the Pyrénées Atlantiques.
Clos Mirabel is ideal for large family holidays and groups of friends, couples and business travellers.

Accommodation is available individually, in any combination or with exclusive use of the whole estate, on a self-catering basis. The Manor House also operates on a Bed and Breakfast basis throughout the year and is available for small weddings, special birthdays, baptisms and seminars up to 35 guests.
The litÂtle town of JuÂrançon is 3 kms away from Clos MiraÂbel. There are nuÂmerÂous loÂcal bakÂers, butchÂers, a greenÂgroÂcer, a suÂperÂmarÂket, weekÂly marÂket, churchÂes, chemists, 2 docÂtorsâ surgÂeries and a denÂtist. There are 2 cafes and 2 resÂtauÂrants.
The much largÂer ciÂty of Pau is just a few minÂutes drive, it is ideÂal for shopÂping, eatÂing out and visÂitÂing hisÂtoric sites. Jurançon is a famous wine-growing region with many vineyards in close proximity for tours and wine tasting. There is lots to see and do in the local area from mountain walks and trips to the ski slopes to water sports on the river Gave. Popular day trips include - the tourist train at Artouste for close up views of the PyrĂ©nĂ©es and mountain lakes, Pau Chateau, Lourdes, St Jean du Luz, Biarritz and the coast of Spain including Bilbao for the Guggenheim Museum and the seaside resort of San Sebastian.

The original house at Clos Mirabel was a very simple BĂ©arnaise farmÂhouse built between 1732 and 1738. In 1825, the property and vineyard was purchased by Jean Mirabel, hence the name, Clos Mirabel.
Much travÂelled Ann and AnÂdrĂ© fell in love with Clos MiraÂbel and its breathÂtakÂing views over 15 years ago. They lived in the 18th CenÂtuÂry Manor House for 2 years beÂfore unÂderÂtakÂing a maÂjor renÂoÂvaÂtion in 2005 reÂtainÂing as many of the hisÂtorÂiÂcal feaÂtures as posÂsiÂble.
French-Canadian AndrĂ© is a retired diplomat; Ann worked in the travel industry and public affairs. They both have a keen interest in health and wellÂbeing.
In 2017 Rachel and Xavier (their daughter and son-in law) took up the reins of the family business bringing with them their creative flair and expertise.
The Clos Mirabel Estate now provides a hillÂtop haven in Bed and Breakfast and Self Catering Accommodation suitable for holidays, business travel, weddings and seminars.
The Manor House and other properties are available to rent over the Christmas and New Year period.
