Loved by guests for its light, sense of space & fresh, tasteful design, the Veranda Suite is a large, airy ground floor suite with period features & a large sash window overlooking the walled garden. Furnished with a king size French style bed, two comfy antique French armchairs upholstered in Mulberry crushed velvet & a Farrow & Ball feature wall, the Veranda Suite offers a soothing, relaxing space to unwind. Recently we have added an internet enabled television giving guests access to a wide variety of films.

The Veranda Suite has the added benefits of a separate entrance offering a greater sense of privacy, a stylish en-suite wet room with powerful monsoon shower, under floor heating & a large cast-iron slipper bath with (if you wish to open the planation shutters) views out over the garden through the fragrant roses, clematis & jasmin that frame the window.

The Veranda Suite also boasts its own small sitting room that is equipped with a desk, sofa and tea / coffee making facilities thus making it ideal for those who may need to combine business with pleasure or those just wanting that extra space in which to relax.

One small dog may be allowed on request. There is a charge of ÂŁ30 per stay.
Coswarth House is not your usual B&B and has no aspirations to be regarded as such! It is designed for the discerning traveller who wishes to maintain their privacy in traditional and sumptuous surroundings. We offer accommodation in Padstow combining the benefits of period charm & boutique styling. Our breakfast is provided by our friends at Rick Stein's - usually in St. Petroc's Bistro - which is a very short walk from the house.

Our spacious, light bedrooms have been freshly refurbished to create relaxing spaces where antique furniture sits comfortably alongside contemporary touches. Our bedrooms have luxurious, spacious en-suite bathrooms with powerful showers & antique cast iron roll top baths to soak away your stresses & strains. Lovely relaxing and spacious place

Perfect location close to the centre of Padstow, with privacy and gorgeous views guaranteed.

Low key but lovely, this is a place to come if you want to be out of town but not so far that you can't walk in easily. Very laid back and welcoming and the room was styled well, and importantly, clean. We loved being able to escape the centre of town or come back from visiting other people by relaxing in the garden.

The place is beautifully picture perfect and the room had everything we needed for our stay in the best possible quality. Mark was a fantastic host and made us feel very welcome. Comfortable B&B in Padstow

We stayed at Coswarth House for two nights as part of a week long walk along the south west coast path. This was the final leg of our journey. We made the most of the accommodation and enjoyed sitting in the garden, which was an oasis of calm, away from the busy streets of Padstow, yet within a short walking distance. The room was beautifully presented, well equipped with lots of nice touches. The breakfasts at St Petrocs Hotel, nearby, were delicious.

Gorgeous room with a view to match

From the time we arrived at Cosworth House we knew it was going to be special. The House itself is a beautiful Georgian building with all original features. Our suit was charming and had the wow factor, the bed was especially comfortable and had really good linen. A recently revamped bathroom too . Breakfast is a 10 minute walk into town at Rick Steins Cafe

Lovely town, lovely property and lovely hosts Sue and Colin

We had 4 nights stay, exploring Cornwall during the day and dining in the many restaurants in the evening. Hired bikes (Padstow Cycle hire - really helpful) and did the camel trail, 22 miles and a lovely lunch at the camel trail tea rooms along the way. We visited the Barbara Hepworth museum in St Ives and the lost gardens of Heligan. Ate at several restaurants, but probably our favourite night was at St Petroc’s in the snug. Colin and Sue, our hosts, were very knowledgeable on the area.

Spotless boutique B&B in a fantastic location with warm and friendly hosts.

My wife and I stayed at Coswarth House at the end of May/ beginning of June. The visit was a surprise birthday gift for my wife. I chose Coswath House as I was looking for a well located luxurious but comfortable hotel/ B&B. Coswarth house did not disappoint. The room was beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and comfortable. On arrival we were greeted by Colin and Sue who carried our luggage, guided us to our room and gave us a very welcome glass of prosecco.

Relaxed, Friendly and Charming!

Coswarth House is a picturesque Georgian House, a short walk away from the main hub of Padstow. Spotlessly clean, with a friendly and lovely welcome by the owner Mark. Our room overall was spacious, comfortable and attractively decorated. Lovely pristine fluffy towels and a comfortable bed. Gorgeous local toiletries and a welcome bottle of fizz, which was a lovely touch. Mark was a fabulous host, friendly, welcoming and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble! Fabulous!
