Coach House at Glebe House Cottages

Coach House is an upside-down style cottage to take advantage of the beautiful views across the gardens. This is a 4 Star luxurious cottage which has been beautifully furnished whilst retaining many of its original features.

The main bedroom has a king size bed, while the second bedroom has twin beds. There is ample room for a cot in both bedrooms. Upstairs there is also a room with bunk-beds perfect for children. All bedrooms have been fitted with solid oak furnishings which help emphasize the luxury feel to the cottage. The new modern family bathroom has a bath with combined shower, basin vanity unit suite, heated mirror and also a heated towel rail.

The living room upstairs comes complete with a flat screen TV with freeview, a DVD Player and a DAB radio CD/Ipod dock. The cottage also has it’s own router meaning you should always be able to connect to the internet. The living area has magnificent views across the gardens and local countryside.

The new kitchen area is fully equipped with all you should need including a double oven and grill, electric hob with extractor, microwave, fridge, separate freezer, and dishwasher.

Outside, is a secluded seating area with tables & chairs and a barbecue.

Guests have full access to all the facilities on site including the heated swimming pool, tennis court, games room, formal gardens, woodland walk, children's play area, fire pit, tampoline, garden games and plenty more.
We offer seven beautiful 19th Century buildings situated in the stunning Devon / Cornwall border countryside. They have retained their original features including their stone walls, wooden beams, and studded doors as well as having all the necessary modern conveniences such as wifi connection, Alexa Music Players and Smart TV’s.

The cottages have very recently been refurbished so that you can relax in style and comfort. All our cottages have been fitted with new super-soft mattresses, high pressure showers and solid oak furniture throughout to give our guests a true luxury retreat.
Sarah, Jay, Nick and Polly live on site and are always happy to help create your perfect holiday in an unobtrusive manner, whether that’s setting up games in the garden for children or serving drinks by the pool. Nothing is too much trouble.

There are plenty facilities on site to keep the whole family entertained including dogs*, such as the heated outdoor pool and games room. For children, we have a brand-new activity trim trail as well as a trampoline, swings & slide and plenty of garden games. Adults can relax in the formal gardens with the variety of a flower garden, herb garden, beech circle, woodland walk and vegetable patch.

There is plenty to see and do around Glebe House cottages, whether you are looking for a sandy beach to spend a day with the family, or to find the perfect surf conditions and other water sports, or if you want to go on a walk to experience truly inspirational wildlife, geology and scenery. The North Devon & Cornwall coastline is full of variety, with some fabulous beaches, fascinating rock formations all of them linked by the South West Coast Path including: Bude, Widemouth Bay, Crackington Haven, Boscastle, and Hartland Quay and Clovelly.
