For those who prefer the independent lifestyle our luxury apartments benefit from en suite facilities, living room, fully fitted kitchen, Wi-Fi and ample free parking next to our well manicured gardens. The apartments are not serviced during the stay.
In a Georgian manor house in Mumbles, Norton House Hotel provides comfortable rooms and apartments in South Wales. A 3-minute walk from the promenade and town centre, this elegant hotel has free parking and free Wi-Fi.

All rooms have a TV, telephone and tea and coffee facilities, and family rooms have an additional sofa-bed. There is also a 2-bedroom apartment with its own kitchen facilities and lounge area.

The hotel serves a full Welsh breakfast and a vegetarian breakfast, as well as a continental selection with pastries, cold meats, cheeses and fresh fruit.

The restaurant serves a wide range of lunches and evening meals, plus morning coffee and afternoon tea.

Pleased to have spent time staying in Norton House.

Location is excellent for visiting family and friends in Mumbles. Friendly service and quick to respond to a heating fault in the apartment we had. Lovely breakfasts too!

A great two day family get together

The apartment accommodation was compass described and perfect for our needs. It was a really wet couple of days so a couple of coat hooks at the entrance would have been good. Some tlc required, window in bathroom and non closing doors in lobby.

Wonderful, friendly staff, great location, brilliant stay.

Staff were outstanding, so friendly and helpful, couldn't do enough for you. Perfect location, easy short walk in to Mumbles, [saves the hassle of parking ]. Hotel car park is large and free. Sunday lunch was amazing, breakfasts were great. Had an apartment, so we could spend time with the family, brilliant idea, loved that option. Definitely be back yet again, next year. Thank you Norton staff.

A great little apartment in a brilliant location. Stayed here for a family get together and it was perfect for us. The lounge area was a good size and the kitchen had everything we needed.Having an en-suite to the single bedroom worked well and the showers in both bathrooms were excellent. Plenty of towels, toiletries etc with housekeeping asking the second day if we needed anything. Heating worked a treat on one chilly evening. Parking was plentiful even though the hotel was busy on one night. We did our own thing, so I can’t comment on the hotel bar or restaurant.It was a very wet couple of days so a coat rack somewhere in the lounge would have been useful (we used either end of the curtain pole, which worked).We would certainly stay again.

Looking for somewhere on the Gower at short notice and found this hotel in the Mumbles. Very pleasantly surprised to find a self-catering 2 bed apartment with good facilities within easy walking distance of the town centre. Bought and made breakfast in our room.

VERY ENJOYABLE

Excellent facilities in the self catering accommodation. Very good breakfast and most enjoyable dinner for a very reasonable price. Staff very helpful and friendly. Our second stay and we will return on our next visit to Swansea. Unable to find car park space at times maybe keep some spaces for residents only.

Accommodate was exactly what was needed. It’s our third stay over a 6 month period and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Staff were very pleasant, helpful and understanding.

Convenient and value for money 2 bed suite for overnight stop whilst visiting Swansea university

Stayed here for just for one night whilst visiting Swansea University, so didn't get to see much around the hotel, but looks a nice building close to sea. The 2 bed suite looked as though it was fairly recently refurbished, with everything pretty new looking and clean. The staff were helpful

Mumbles is a Must

a very happy and welcoming hotel. staff are exceptional, always putting their guests needs first. Interested in their guests and very attentive. excellent facilities, rooms ideal... loved it. excellent place for all ages as so many facilities available. buses, trains, walking, shops delicious restaurants and the ice cream!!! such a varied choice ...

What a great place to stay - very central and full facilities.

I stayed in a fully self contained apartment with my 93 year old mother. The apartment was on the ground floor with a short ramp to the door. This was ideal for us both. The staff were very helpful and supportive. The only “negative” comment would be that the legally required ‘fire doors’ to the bedrooms were too stiff to open for a frail 93 year old. I am aware that these doors are a legal requirement, but not easy when an old lady is unable to get out of the bedroom area.

We had a very pleasant stay in a well-equipped hotel with very friendly and professional staff.

We liked everything about our apartment (three cliffs) apart from the coffee table! As soon as you enter the apartment there is a rectangular glass-topped coffee table right in front of you. Unfortunately due to the nature of glass, this wasn't visible, so I walked straight into it, gashing and bruising my knee. This happened to all 3 guests. I don't work in health and safety, but I'd advise that this is replaced for something wooden. Other than that, perfect stay!
