Studio with Street View or Bay Window
Studio 6 is a comfortable first floor studio apartment for up to 2 people. It is west facing overlooking the front garden and has a large vertical sliding Upvc double glazed window giving a bright, airy feel. The apartment has a pull down wall (Murphy) double bed,two armchairs,coffee table,dining table with chairs, bedside cabinet,chest of drawers and wardrobe.
There is a colour television with Freeview channels, DVD player and hairdryer.
The apartment has a modern fully fitted kitchenette with full size cooker, fridge, microwave oven, kettle, toaster and full range of cutlery, crockery and kitchen utensils.
It also has an ensuite Triton shower and w.c.
We supply our guests with a welcome pack of tea, coffee and biscuits and for children a fruit drink and biscuits.
Heating is available via an oil filled electric radiator and fan heater (all year) and a night storage heater (beginning of November to end of March).
Please note the following additional costs that could be incurred which would be paid for separately on or before arrival.
Electricity operates via a modern £1 and £2 coin meter in the apartment
Bed linen (sheet, duvet cover, pillowcases) can be hired at £6.00 per bed per week.
Towels (bath and hand) can be hired at £3.00 per set per week.
Cots, mattresses (no bedding) and high chairs are available at £6.00 per set per week.
Alternatively guests are welcome to bring their own linen, towels, cots and high chairs.
Well behaved pets are welcome at £22.00 per pet per week or part thereof with a discount for three or more pets.
The distinguished detached property was built in 1902 and is set in its own spacious grounds which include a large secure guest garden with a range of children’s play equipment and a large off street private car park.
The child and pet friendly building comprises thirteen fully furnished and equipped self-catering apartments ranging in size from studios to two bedrooms and sleeping from one to seven guests. There is considerable flexibility in the accommodation to enable us to meet most requirements as well as the important little extras such as onsite laundry facilities, free upgraded WiFi service, book library, board games and beach equipment for guests use.
Broadshade is located in the quiet and popular Roundham residential area away from high traffic routes but still within just five minutes walk of the beaches, town centre and harbour.
There is also good access to the South Devon Expressway (A380) and local bus and rail stations within walking distance which make exploring the English Riviera, Dartmoor and South Devon very easy.

We (Leena & Tobias) took over the business in 2022 having moved to Devon from Tenerife after careers in various fields.
We have continued to build on a very successful business and have embarked on a modernization programme to upgrade and refurbish the apartments whilst retaining the essential character of the building.
