Cherryhill Lodge is a luxury, family-run B&B situated in Newcastle, County Down. Graded 4-star by the Northern Ireland Tourist Board, this boutique accommodation offers a welcoming and comfortable stay for all types of travellers.

For any golfing fan, Cherryhill could not be better situated. Only a five minute drive from the first tee of one of the most prestigious golf courses in the world, Royal County Down.

Cherryhill is situated perfectly for walkers being only minutes from Slieve Donard, the biggest mountain in Northern Ireland and right on 2 great walking trails - The Mourne Way and The Newcastle Way. Step out your front door and you get straight on to either of these fantastic walks in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Murlough Nature Reserve is a five minute drive from Cherryhill Lodge, Murlough National Nature Reserve is a fragile 6000 year old sand dune system owned by the National Trust and managed as Ireland’s first Nature Reserve since 1967. It is an excellent area for walking and bird watching due to its spectacular location at the edge of Dundrum Bay and the Mourne Mountains.

Only a 20 minute drive from Cherryhill Lodge is the award winning Tyrella beach and dune conservation area. This is a small, enclosed complex within Dundrum Bay, Downpatrick, County Down. It is a wide, flat, sandy beach two kilometres long and backed by 25 hectares of mature dunes in a conservation area offering scenic walks and an insight into the habitat of local flora and fauna.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Cherryhill Lodge, our hosts were very friendly & welcoming and the B&B itself I cannot recommend highly enough. Wonderful accomadation with great location for exploring the loal area

We were made to feel really welcome - A real home from home. Facilities were excellent and the view from our bedroom was stunning with views over the garden and mountains in the background. Perfect Place to Rest and Recharge

I needed to escape Belfast for a couple days and find some peace and quiet to recharge, and my stay at Cherryhill Lodge allowed me to do exactly that. I stayed for two nights in the Garden Room. Everything - from the shower and the bed to the breakfast and the views - was incredible!

Absolutely outstanding B&B

Accommodation was top class. Quiet location but only a 15 minute walk in to Newcastle. Beautiful room overlooking the Mourne Mountains. Delicious breakfast every morning....huge variety on offer. The proprietors couldn't have been nicer. Would definitely recommend this B&B.....you won't be disappointed
