Välkommen till Whitetail Lodge

Njut av ett lugnt sätt med alla bekvämligheter i hemmet! Denna autentiska timmerstuga ligger på 80 privata hektar med gott om vilda djur, dammar, vikar och vacker skog. Det finns omfattande spår i hela fastigheten för vandring, längdskidåkning, vandring, snöskor, etc. Stugan har 2 sovrum, plus ett stort sovloft och en futon på 3 säsong veranda. Sovrum 1 ligger på bottenvåningen och har en queen size logg säng, garderob, byrå, 40 "TV och DVD-spelare. Sovrum 2 ligger på lägre nivå och har en full size säng, en queen size säng och garderob. På loftet finns en full size-säng, king size-luftmadrass och extra utrymme för en annan luftmadrass eller sovsäckar. Det fulla köket innehåller diskmaskin, mikrovågsugn, kylskåp, ugn / spis, disk, köksredskap, grillredskap och stor ö med 4 barstolar. Tillbringa avkopplande kvällar på verandaen spelar spel på skräddarsydda cribbage bordet bord. Futon i verandan kan användas som extra sovplats. Den stora eldstaden är utmärkt för rostning av marshmallows och avkopplande under stjärnorna. Vi inkluderar en kolgrill för gästbruk. Njut av Skålnätverk och en samling DVD-skivor på 65 "TV i vardagsrummet. Familjen på lägre nivå har även en 42 "TV och DVD-spelare (ingen Dish Network). Det finns en tvättmaskin och torktumlare i källaren. Stugan är rökfri. Gästerna är ombedda att ta sina skräp med dem vid utcheckning och ta med eget ved och campingstolar. Offentlig tillgång till Taylor Lake är 1. 5 från stugan och är perfekt för fiske. Clam Lakes och Crooked Lake Beach ligger också i närheten. Gandy Dancer sydliga sektion ATV / snö mobilspår är 17 km bort. Andra lokala attraktioner inkluderar minigolf, Timbers filmteater, konstgallerier, St. Croix Hertel Casino (4. 6 miles från stugan) och många butiker och restauranger. Beautiful cabin

The cabin and host was amazing! Took our girl scout troop here for a long weekend. Our girls just loved the place! We had a hard time getting them to leave the place to explore the area! It was so peaceful and relaxing.

Mildew! Mildew! Mildew!

The mildew smell was so strong it was unbearable. If you sleep in the bedroom downstairs it will make you sick. Careful where you put your chair on the deck because it will fall through the rotted wood. Bring extra food to share with the mice. They are all over the kitchen. Poorly maintained. Host was great to work with and the fire pit was nice. The space was great it was so unfortunate the smell was so bad.

Secluded cabin

The cabin was nicely isolated but given the wet weather they've had all Spring/into summer we were unable to enjoy the outdoors. We like to do yard games and have bon fires but this was not possible due to the bugs. Other issues we incountered were brought to the owners attention which she assured me will be addressed for future renters.

Nice area, unfortunately there was black mold in the bathroom, the basement needed a dehumidifier cause moisture was so high. Also, it has a bad mouse problem.

Amazing Vacation!!!

My husband and I stayed at this location with my bestie and her husband, my siblings, and a family friend. We all had the best time. It was so private and peaceful that it was absolutely perfect and just what we were looking for. We can't wait to go back!!!

Cabin stay

Absolutely beautiful cabin. Amber was easy to get in touch with and was very helpful when i had a schedule mix up at work so my family needed to check in before me. Unfortunately we didnt get much opportunity to use the outdoor facilities due to rain and other events we had going on and didn't see a hot tub but overall we had a great stay. Definitely recommended.

Paddle Trip

About 6-8 of us get together once a year and paddle various rivers in Wisconsin. This year we paddled the Namekagon and St. Croix Rivers. The cabin worked fine and was centrally located to access the four ten mile trips we did. We also stopped by the Grantsburg Brewery, Crex Meadows Visitor Center and the Burnett Dairy in Alpha. We were also confronted by a belligerent grouse in the driveway, but we deescalated the situation.

Best Stay Yet!

This has been the best place we've stayed at yet and will be back next year for sure. Had an issue that was taken care of same day and the location of this property is superb. Walking trails through the woods on the property and seclusion. I thank Amber and her family for sharing with us. 5 star stay for sure!!!

Disappointed

Overall, we were not happy with our stay. The strong smell of mothballs permeated the house and bedding which gave my husband a headache. The carpet in the bedroom on the main floor was filthy, the blankets and sheets had holes in them, and the bathroom did not have a window curtain. The amount of money that we paid for the cabin was far higher than the quality of the furnishings in the cabin. We did need to reach out to Amber about the TV. There were 5 remotes, but no instructions on how to use them.

Cabin in the woods

We had a great stay at this cabin in the woods. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the fire pit and enjoyed the ATV trails around the area. The owner was great at getting back quickly with any questions I had. We’d definitely come back. Leane F.

Cute Cabin in the woods.

This quaint cabin is exactly what you see in the pics. We had some young boys that enjoyed venturing out into the woods. Unfortunately the weather was not the best so we didn't get to experience any of the trails. I could see this being perfect in the warmer months. The owners were quick to respond anytime we reached out with questions. They have everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Every room has a t.v. and nice furniture. We were lucky that this family was willing to share their space with us. A few minor things that can easily be remedied... 1. We had to wash almost all of the dishes by hand prior to using them as they were not clean. 2. We had a 1 year old and didn't really think about baby proofing (so this is probably more on us then the owners). The stairs and outlets were the biggest stressors. 3. This is a pet friendly cabin, but all of the blankets and bedding had dog hair all over them. 4. Lastly, we did not arrive until night time in the middle of winter. It was completely dark (a motion light out front would have been nice) and the house was freezing. We were informed of the heat when we received the keys but it took forever to warm up. We sat in our jackets all night the first night. Don't let those minor things deter you (just prepare you), this private cabin in the woods is a great getaway!

Awesome property for a fall family trip

We had a fantastic long weekend stay at this property! The cabin was clean and comfortable, plenty large for our family and the owners were very responsive when we had questions. Our kids enjoyed the trampoline and we all enjoyed the 3 season porch, fire pit, long walks on the property and ability to bring the family dog too. The inviting porch and open floor plan were perfect for visiting and relaxing and we loved being tucked away but still close to town when we needed to run in for supplies. Loved this cabin and would definitely stay again!

Great log cabin!

Very cozy cabin with awesome enclosed and front porches. The porch swings are so fun. The bonfire pit was amazing and we cooked one meal using the bonfire grate grill. What you see in the pictures is what you get. The walking trails out back go almost a mile out before needing to turn around. Pretty woodsy trail. It was sunny and hot during our stay and only wished the window AC unit in the dining room worked stronger or that there were an additional window AC unit elsewhere within the cabin. The owner put in a railing to the upstairs after my cousins and I mentioned a concern about it soon after we made our reservations. If you’re looking for a nice quiet getaway with lots of wildlife sounds surrounding you, then this is the place for you. Myself and six other family members comfortably enjoyed ourselves here.

Perfect getaway

This property is a great way to unwind and get away from the hustle and bustle of our busy life. The cabin is very spacious and has everything you could need for a week away. Amber was a great host very quick to respond to questions.The fishing is great and all the little drive inns were great. We loved Amelias cafe great breakfast. We will definitely keep this cabin in mind for our next trip!!

Private Serenity

Great secluded getaway

The family enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was great to just hang out together away from it all. Girls loved the trampoline and chair swings. Nice cozy cabin with lots of room!

Quiet Retreat

Everything you want in a quiet escape you will find at this log cabin. Little piece of heaven in northern Wisconsin, had an excellent time and can’t wait to go again!
