Beautiful but neglected

Big, spacious & beautiful property with a lot of potential - Bedroom spacious and nicely made linen provided with TVs in the bedrooms - Large open plan living area fully equipped for self catering. - Property manager helpful with arranging airport pickup and taxis. (Definitely consider hiring a car before coming it’s needed if not get number of taxi company that drops you off from airport so you can use to book when getting around) - Living area smell was stuffy as if needing airing out, there was also a lot of ants crawling all over the living area. Reported the ants no help for a day till following day without notification a bug spray left outside the door. - The veranda just outside the living area was not habitable because it was so dirty the floor haven’t been swiped and table cleaned in ages even if it’s outside space if it is regularly maintained it shows they wouldn’t be that level of neglect. -The same neglect extended to around the pool are we could not walk barefooted because it was dirty and dusty and the same applies to the sun beds which never used too -The pool was dirty we reported they came to clean but only the pool not around the pool. We were therefore, able to use the pool on that day. -We left villa after only 2nights stay although booked for 7 nights. Found alternative accommodation with a friend -At checkout reached out to give feedback to avoid writing all this in this platform but 3times up to today was told owner will be informed still nothing

Der Außenbereich komplett ungepflegt, die Hauptterrasse im Erdgeschoss mit Müll und defekten Gartenmöbeln zugestellt, diese mussten wir mit einer Decke abdecken, um uns den Anblick zu ersparen. Die Bodenfliesen der Terrasse teilweise kaputt, ebenso die Umrandungen des Pools. Die Liegen am Pool allesamt kaputt, die dazugehörigen Auflagen verschmutzt und teilweise verschimmelt. Ein Schuppen am Pool vollgestellt mit Müll und hinter dem Haus entsorgte Plastik- und Tontöpfe sowie Metallrahmen. Im Haus selbst viel Grund zur Klage. Verschmutztes Geschirr in den Schränken unsortiert, Reste von Lebensmitteln von den Vormietern, Fußboden, Backröhre, Herd und Küchenarbeitspatte verschmutzt. Fehlende Kaffeemaschine, die uns erst auf Nachfrage nachgeliefert wurde.Die 2 Badezimmer stark verschmutzt und teilweise mit verkalkten und verrotteten Badutensilien ausgestattet. Der Zustand der Toilettenbürsten nicht tragbar.Bei der Abreise wurden wir aufgefordert, die Bettenbezüge abzuziehen und somit haben wir leider erst nach 14 Tagen den schlimmen Zustand der Matratzen feststellen können. Voller Flecke und Rost. Insgesamt sollte bei dem Zustand des Hauses, diese Unterkunft eigentlich nicht zur Vermietung an Touristen freigegeben werden, bevor es Gründlichst gereinigt und saniert wurde.Insgesamt war das für uns ein sehr anstrengender Urlaub, weil die Zustände des Hauses nicht den Erwartungen und schon gar nicht den Fotos auf der Internetseite gerecht wurden.

In need of investment…

Good sized Villa with well kept gardens, lovely pool and is well located, however, it felt tired. Most of the outdoor garden furniture is broken, the BBQ is a gas one that has filled with coals and the general feel of the Villa is that it requires some upkeep. Despite the gardens being maintained, nearly all pot plants are dead so the gardener isn’t stretching as far as to water those. The cleaners also appear to be doing the minimal amount before guests arrived as we weren’t expecting to have to clean the oven with oven pride (still had burnt food in it), or descale the dishwasher (making everything cloudy), washing machine (making clothes dirty) or 3 shower heads that were completely blocked. Aircon units weren’t working very well (required maintenance guy to come out) and most are on a 2 hour timer despite having thermostats. The TV had no feed so was useless, the X Box had no working controllers and the Wi-Fi certainly isn’t 500mb+ (more like 10mb). We also had to have the maintenance guy out for a leaking bath. Despite this we loved the area, with shops, bars and restaurants all within walking distance plus the bus is very easy and cheap to get into Kyrenia.

Lovely Villa - Fantastic Location

Villa was just in a fantastic location with complete privacy all around. Everything you may need for a complete holiday to be found in the villa. As well as being private the location is great to access bars, restaurants and beaches. (2 minute drive/10 minute walk) The dolmus (local transport) passes the end of the road, so in theory, you could actually visit this villa and not require a hire car.
