The Castle is situated on a piece of land in the beautiful lake Vindommen and it is surrounded by water on both sides. The property is located 2:45h drive from Stockholm (240 km). Hägerstads Castle is a scenic location on a hill that provides sweeping views of the surrounding landscape and the lake. The surroundings have a very rich plant and animal life and if you like fishing the lake is rich with pike, perch, zander and bream.
The total area is today about 11 ha, of which about half is made up of the Nature Reserve and oak garden. The Nature reserve has several Viking graves and also the graves of the founders.
Hägerstad Castle will be open for vacation rentals from Maj 1 2019

On the Entrance floor we have a Grand entrance room with large fireplace, 3 bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen with extra-large stove, large dining room fits 16 people, music rum with large screen TV and grand piano, antique furniture. All living areas have large wall paintings that give character to each room.
Lower and Entrance floors are open but other floors are not completed yet, no work will be performed during your stay.
Lower level area has two bedrooms with vaults and 1m thick walls, 2 toiles, laundry room, spa room with the sauna, double showers and family Media room with 4K Cinema media projector.
