Our 3 bedroomed house is situated in a semi rural situation, in the historical village of Irby. Here you will find 2 pubs, 2 restaurants, shops and amenities. We are close to a number of beaches including Thurstaston and West Kirby, and are within 300 metres of Thurstaston common which provides wonderful walks through the ancient woods of Roydon Park. There are a number of golf courses on our doorstep, including Caldy, Royal Liverpool and Wallasey.

Lovely house in a great location

This is a lovely spacious house in a great location, a short walk to two pubs and local shops and takeaways. The house was spotlessly clean and great communication from the host. Will stay again.

Ideal property

Property was accurately described, well equipped and very clean. Ideally located for local shops in Irby and The Anchor Inn. Great communication from Lindsay. Couldn’t have been better.

Great location for Liverpool area

Great property in a quiet location with easy access to Liverpool and surrounding area. The property is spacious and comfortable and it is a peaceful location. It is well-equipped. We had a very comfortable stay.

Enjoyable stay

Very comfortable and convenient for visiting Wirral, Liverpool and Chester (after 30 years!). Accommodation consistent with advertised, good kitchen, easy parking and enclosed garden (useful when travelling with dog). Good communication with owner who was flexible in meeting our late changes to plan

Suited our needs well

Property was excellent. A few minor things; microwave practically inaccessible, gate didn’t close properly (which was a issue with having a dog) and heating set too low to come on (but got around this by manual adjustment). We were there to visit family and the location was perfect. We would definitely come back again.

Great property and host

We stayed here whilst our property was being refurbished. It's a beautiful house and was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The garden is fantastic and our young kids spent hours on the swing and garden chairs. The host was super communicative and helpful both before and during our stay - I'm sure she would have been there if we'd had any issues. Very well priced for what it is, we would wholeheartedly recommend this property.

Good stay

We stayed 3 nights in this property and it was generally good. The location is quiet and convenient. The house is well maintained and equipped. On the downside, we arrived early evening in November and the house was absolutely freezing (nobody on site / self check-in). Fortunately, instructions were given on boosting the heating but it took 2-3 hours to resolve itself.

We wanted to be near to a friend living in West Kirby so the house was the perfect location. Spotlessly clean, with a very friendly owner and everything you could need. The welcome pack was an added bonus and very thoughtful. Thanks once again, we'll be back 🙂

Lovely home from home

We've just returned from a short stay in this lovely house whilst visiting family nearby. The house is exactly as described in the pictures, really comfortable, clean and homely with a well stocked kitchen and everything you could need. Communication with Lindsay was great and check in super easy. We hope to visit again next time we're in the area. Thanks

A comfortable and relaxing stay

We were a family group, including grandparents and our two year old granddaughter. We booked the house to see extended family in West Kirby as well as friends in Manchester. The house was very clean and well cared for. It is very well equipped, which made for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Communication with Lindsey was excellent and the welcome pack was good. We would highly recommend the property and would stay there again.

Schönes Haus und tolle Gegens

Es war ein sehr schönes Haus und die Lage ist perfekt. Alles vorhanden in der Nähe. In 20 Minuten ist man in Liverpool. Das Haus war gut ausgestattet und sauber. Nichts zu bemängeln

Sehr gute genaue Beschreibung des Hauses. Sehr gute Ausstattung insgesamt, Küche auch sehr gut ausgestattet. Es fehlt an nichts. Betten sehr gut. Sauber und gepflegt, sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Sehr freundliche und kompetente Gastgeberin. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis sehr angemessen. Lage sehr gut, um Liverpool, Wirral und Umgebung zu erkunden. Jeder Zeit gerne wieder.
