3 bedroom, 2 bathroom Gite, set in the beautiful Normandy countryside close to Mont Saint Michel. Property is set in 3 acres of mature gardens, with ample outdoor seating/dining areas. Plenty of off road parking.
Swimming pool (please bring beach towels to use at the pool or beach), 3/4 acre fishing lake and smaller feeder pond, ideal for teaching children to fish. Plenty of garden games, Games room with table tennis, pool table, darts and Xbox console. Fire pit & use of BBQ.
This property offers great flexibility to your party as all bedrooms have either a superking size bed or twin single beds and can be made up as per your request. Travel cot, high chairs and stair gates.
Large comfortable lounge with dining table, smart TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime, 150 OCH channels and free WIFI.
Laundry room with washing machine and tumble drier.
Kitchen with breakfast bar, dishwasher, oven & hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, crockery and cookware.

Located only 8km from the market towns of Pontorson and Saint-James, where you will find various shops, restaurants and super markets.

There is a path & cycle track from Pontorson that takes you directly to the world famous tidal island of Mont-Saint-Michel, along Le Couesnon river, or if you are not feeling that energetic, there is ample parking if you are visiting via car.
We are just 27km to the nearest beach, with many more along the coast to explore.

Erholsame Ferien in der Normandie

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche in dem Haus. Es ist außergewöhnlich sauber und alles vorhanden,was man braucht. Die Zimmer sind sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Gelände lädt ein zum Erholen. Die Enten sind sehr zahm und wir durften jeden Morgen Eier von den Hühnern holen. Die Vermieter Melanie und Steve sind vor Ort, so dass man ständig einen Ansprechpartner hat. Vielen Dank für den wundervollen Aufenthalt 🥰

Really lovely stay at Villiers-le-Pre

Melanie and Steve have a lovely property. It was everything we expected and more. They both went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed and the welcome pack was very much appreciated!!! Ruby especially enjoyed the pool and of course the ducks were also a favourite- especially Poppy!! Thank you for keeping her name. She nearly came home with us. Thank you both for a lovely stay and best wishes for the future.

Summer 2022

Friendly owners- very helpful. We knew that there would be shared facilities but didn’t anticipate that the properties would all be attached and shared areas so close. It wasn’t a problem for us as a bigger group but I felt permanently conscious of the smaller family being potentially irritated by our teenagers who wanted to use the pool and swing seat and fishing area pretty much continuously. They were polite and didn’t intentionally block the space but I imagine might have felt intimidating. The games room was very close to the smaller property so had the potential to easily disturb them. That was the only drawback. The property was stunning, lots to do with st malo, beaches and mont st michel nearby. Chickens and ducks were friendly.. a chilled out space, perfect for relaxing. Third bedroom in attic so can get very hot but owners provide a fan. Lots of options for space indoors and ourdoors to eat or rest.

Top notch for relaxation!

This holiday let has had to be the best we've ever stayed when in comes to the grounds.... the pictures and description really do not allow the reader to see how beautiful the gardens and lakes are, especially if you have the sunny weather, so many areas to sit at and relax and listen to the bird song or watch the gardens nature (ducks and Coypu were funny and fascinating to watch). The games room was amazing as was the (non heated) pool although we only used it a couple of times. The gite really had it all and to have both a washing and a tumble dryer/washing line was so useful. The grounds are shared with a smaller studio to accommodate 3 but whilst we were there there was no one in the studio so had everything to ourselves which was a plus. Supermarkets and restaurants are about a 10 minute drive away and the nearest beach is about 25 minutes drive where they do Sand Sailing. Melanie was on hand if needed who lives onsite but was never intrusive. Thank you for such an enjoyable week.

Excellent séjour !!!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour ! Lors de notre séjour, Mélanie et Steve ont été des hôtes très accueillants et disponibles avec des petites attentions qui ont rendu notre séjour d’autant plus agréable. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons pu apprécier la propreté des lieux , le calme avec un jardin qui appelle à la sérénité. Lors de notre séjour, nous avons pu profiter de diffentes ambiences du jardin (très bien entretenu), de la salle de jeux, de la pisicine et des œufs frais que nous allions collecter tous les matins !!! Un grand merci Melanie et Steve, nous avons passé 5 superbes semaines , nous reviendrons surement !!!

Super séjour entre amis

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour dans le gite de Mélanie et Steve. Avant notre arrivée, nous avons pu facilement échanger avec eux, très disponibles et sympathiques. Lors de notre arrivée, nous avons pu découvrir un gîte très propre, avec tout l’équipement nécessaire pour la cuisine notamment, les linges fournis... Tout semblait neuf ! La salle de jeux bien qu’un peu petite a tout ce qu’il faut, pleins d’activités sont disponibles. L’extérieur est superbe avec beaucoup d’espace pour se poser. Mélanie et Steve vivant sur place ont été très discrets, très sympathiques et très disponibles ! Un grand merci à vous encore une fois. Nous reviendrons !

Calme, tranquilité

Très bon accueil de Mélanie et Steve, nous avons apprécié les petites attentions à notre arrivée (boissons, café...), hôtes très discrets, charmant gîte à la campagne, en compagnie des poules et des canards... nous conseillons vivement !

ambiance sympathique et chaleureuse

gîte à la déco de très bon goût, tout y est pensé pour le bien être des occupants aussi bien à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur. De plus, les propriétaires sont très accueillants.

Séjour magnifique

Les hôtes Melanie et Steve sont très accueillants et souriants et très disponibles. Le gîte est propre bien équipé on s’y sent bien toute suite très cosy. Le jardin est magnifique très bien entretenu des petits coins partout pour se poser et se reposer. De la place pour les enfants pour jouer, un barbecue et des abris pour le repas. La salle de jeux est elle aussi très bien équipée : tennis de table, billard et pleins de jeux pour les petits et grands! Le lieu en pleine campagne est calme et reposant mais aussi à côté du Mont Saint Michel et d’autres lieux touristiques. Je recommande et je reviendrai!! Virginie

Séjour d'exception chez Mélanie et Steven.

Gîte calme et parfaitement aménagé: salle de jeux, barbecue, pêche à la carpe... Proche du Mont-Saint-Michel et de l'inimaginable marché aux huîtres de Cancale. Hôtes très chaleureux et disponibles. N'hésitez pas à profiter du lac pour regarder nager les canards : que du bonheur !
