Summary:
This is an amazing 1 Bedroom apartment, which sleeps 4. It has a very serene vibe, due to the modern decor and pastel colours. It provides the best holiday feel, thanks to its location and the pool and squash court facilities.107934/AL
The apartment is spacious, with partial view to the sea and boasts a fantastic shared pool, as well as a children's pool. Ideal for a small family with little children.
Free parking on premises, with elevator and lovely balcony with view to the sea.
The Space:
This amazing 1BR apartment is located in one of Cascais' well sorted neighbourhoods.
Cascais 1BR is located within a private condominium, with a pool, garden space and a squash court. You are in walking distance to Cascais centre (15min walk) or 2 min away from the coastline promenade. The apartment is located on a 2nd floor, in a building with an elevator. The apartment is spacious, with a fully equipped kitchen, a lounge area with a dining table suitable for 4 people and a very comfortable sofa bed, the bedroom is inviting with a queen sized bed, built in closet and acceess to the full bathroom (w/a bathtub and a shower over it), there is also a social bathroom. Be sure to find along the apartment, a balcony which can be accessed through the kitchen, lounge and bedroom.
The Neighborhood:
You will find a typical supermarket and bakery with coffee shop down the road (VIP Supermarket which contains many international brands and O Sacolinha a small bakery/coffee shop), which assures you your hot rustic bread each morning.
Try a typical Portuguese breakfast, ask for “um galão com pão torrado” (tall milky coffee served in a glass with toasted Portuguese bread)
Within a short walk is Casa da Guia with all of its speciality shops, boutiques, restaurants & cafés offering afternoon refreshments overlooking the sea with wonderful views up to the Cascais marina.
The area around the house is well served by public transport. There is a bus service (called BusCas); this runs regularly throughout the day, to the centre of Cascais and around the Cascais area with it's main stop at the Cascais train station. From here you can get a train to Lisbon in 30 minutes along the beautiful coast line, or a bus to the World Heritage Site of Sintra. If you wish to visit places further afield, please ask us about our day excursions.
There is another bus service which stops just across the road from the house called Giro which will take you to Cascaishopping where there are shops, a food court, hairdressers, technical help center etc.
From Cascais there is a regular bus service to Guincho Beach, #405. The #403 will get you to Sintra.
The train service runs from 5:30am until 1:30am and the trains run every 20minutes approx.
Other Things to Note:
Our properties are self-catering, but we do make all beds up with linen and towels as well as provide basic amenities such as toilet rolls and soaps for a day or two.
If you would like to have additional sets of linen or need to hire baby or beach equipment, we have an array of amenities we can offer. Please ask us for more information. Alternatively, your guest area will also have these items once you have booked. We are also able to arrange airport transfers and day trips with baby seats if needed.
Check-in Times: We offer a meet and greet service until 20:00. Late check-in attracts a supplemental fee:
