Pillow Partners are delighted to introduce Millars One Loft 4, a luxurious 2 bedroom apartment set in the heart of Bishop's Stortford and only 10 mins away from Stansted Airport. It is a newly renovated apartment which has been charmingly restored to keep its original character, with exposed beams and a wonderful mezzanine floor.

This property has been decorated to a high standard and in consideration of the property's original features, with a beautifully modern and well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. The decor is clean, stylish and fresh.

Millars One Lofts is in a perfect location, convenient for all the main businesses and superb transport links. Just outside the front doors you will find some of the best restaurants and shops in the town. The River Stort is only a 2 minutes walk away from where you can enjoy scenic walks and cycle rides along the tow path, taking in some of the beautiful Essex/Hertfordshire countryside. 'Escape Rooms' is just on the door steps immediately next door and there is also a trendy cafe, a lovely pizza place along with a hairdressers and a nail bar just outside it's front door. It is ideally suited for the business and leisure guests alike.

This property is set in an ideal position being only 10mins away from Stansted Airport and also convenient for exploring some of the quaint villages in Hertfordshire, the beautiful countryside or for enjoying a day in London. It is located a 4 minute walk to the train station, where you can go direct to Stansted Airport in 10 minutes, London Liverpool Street in 30 minutes or Cambridge in 40 minutes.

This apartment is based in the historic Millars Maltings complex, sharing the main private entrance with 2 other Loft apartments. Each apartment has it's own private entrance door and guests have access to the whole apartment. 

Parking is on street outside the entrance to the Millars, not on site. There is free street parking or there is a paid car park across the road. Between 7pm and 7am you may park onsite, however all vehicles must be strictly gone by 7am. There is also some flexibility on weekends to park in the car park around the back near the bridge. If you have to pull up to drop things off, please do not block any of the doors.

As you enter through the main front door, the modern newly refurbished staircase takes you up onto the landing, where you will find Loft 4 on the left with its own private entrance door. To the left of the apartment is the inviting open plan dining area and lounge with lovely feature exposed beams and a high vaulted ceiling. 

Up the wide spacious stairs, you will enjoy the relaxing mezzanine floor overlooking the whole downstairs lounge and dining area. This relaxation or office space is equipped with a comfortable desk and chair.

The 2 bedrooms are all en-suite with their own bathroom with a rainfall shower. In the bedrooms you will enjoy characterful exposed beams a dressing table and chair and a spacious built-in wardrobe. 

Off the lounge there is a utility cupboard equipped with a Bosch washing machine and a clothes airer.

The well equipped modern kitchen can be found just in front of the dining area. It is well equipped with a fridge freezer, oven and hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and all utensils. 

There is no sofa bed in the apartment. 
Absolutely no smoking throughout the property or anywhere around the entrance. Failure to comply with this will result in an additional cleaning fee and a fine. 

Sorry no parties, hen dos, stag dos, 18th/21st birthdays etc. No parties or events - Partying and excessive noise is not permitted in this development, failure to comply will lead to a fine. 

Sorry no pets allowed.

Longer-term stays (28 days or more) are allowed.

Quiet Hrs 11pm-7am.

Please ensure on checking out, that the property is fully secure with all windows are closed and the door is locked. Please replace the keys in the key box with the numbers scrambled. If the keys are not replaced, or they are lost, this may result in additional charges such as a lock smith, any nights the property is inaccessible, lost revenue from cancelled or delayed bookings etc. 

Any Damage should be reported immediately and an appropriate charge will apply 

If you fail to adhere to any house rules, your deposit will not be returned and additional charges may apply. 

Please respect the apartment as you would your own home.

Millars Lofts, Bishops Stortford

First time using VRBO and the experience was excellent. Prior to arriving was in contact with Gale the Property Manager who was very helpful. The location of the property is perfect, the street and access to the property was/is very clean and well maintained. I was not familiar with the radiators so called Pass the Property and service was provided within 30 minutes of my call. The property was well equipped. Will definitely consider staying here again when I visit Britain again

Disappointed

Good afternoon, I did want to follow-up with you regarding our disappointment with our stay. We were only there for two nights in order to travel quickly via transit to London-proper for a full day tour. We had a very nice dinner at an Indian restaurant the first night we arrived, that was a 10 minute walk up the road. But, unfortunately, we arrived at the apartment to a strange smell in the entrance way to Unit 4. We thought that maybe no one had stayed there for a few days (or weeks) so we opened all the windows to air it out. We went into the kitchen and the floor felt sticky on our socks and the countertops did not feel clean when we put items on it (like there were crumbs on it). When I went into the bathroom, that's when we realized where the smell was coming from, so we ran the water in the sink for a few minutes thinking that might clear it up. It did not.When we turned the light on I could see dust and dirt on the floor as if it hadn't been washed or dusted. Upon closer inspection the shower frame was covered in dust and the track was grimey. I have attached photos that if you zoom in you will see what I am talking about. The smell never went away, if anything it got stronger. We had to leave the bathroom doors closed with the fan on constantly.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed, great location close to the centre and very helpful communication with the staff ahead of check in. Thanks!
