This excellent accommodation it’s located on the north side of Madeira island, in the middle of Madeira Laurissilva, invites you to leisure and relaxation moments, has a very nice private outdoor area with Wi-Fi, air conditioning and free parking.

According to the description, the house and especially the garden are for your own use. This is not true at all! It is a micro-apartment (cerca 20m2) with mini kitchen-living room, bedroom and bathroom, in a house with another 4 flats. The garden is shared with the flat next door. Instead of enjoying our peace and quiet in the garden, the garden of the flat next door was squeezed together with us, separated only by a mini fence. You could see and hear everything from each other! Zero privacy!!! In addition, in the photo there was a beautiful view, made from an angle that you can't see 50% of the rest of the "view", namely a run-down agricultural garden with farm animals, especially terrible was the chicken that starts screaming at 4:40 in the morning, which makes a quiet night's sleep impossible. Also the bed was very uncomfortable with lots of plastic all around including both mattresses, and the TV was only there as an alibi, you couldn't watch any TV. There is also no single person in charge but several "wathapp staff" and every time someone else answers you without offering any solution, I guess they use bots for that! It was the biggest disappointment we have experienced in years.

Pour ceux qui veulent un appartement agréable, idéalement situé au coeur des montagnes, avec une vue magnifique et qui n ont rien contre le chant du coq, n'hésitez pas! Ma femme et moi avons passé un excellent séjour. De plus nous avons eu une excellente communication avec l'agence qui s'occupe de la location du bien, merci à Andreia. Anastasia & jean-Bruno

friendly staff, but service and accommodation need a lot improvement

before the check-in, staff on the phone are very helpful, check-in goes well, staff is helpful too. After checking out, we forgot the glasses, and they brought it to our next hotel, appreciated their service here very well, and thanks! In terms of facilitair of the apartment, there is an impression of NOT truly care about the needs of the travellers, and not thoughtful of providing a pleasant stay, a kind of minim service: 1. the kitchen has no hand towels and towels to dry dishes 2. cleaning sponge and cleaning towel are dirty while it costs so little money to have new sponge and cleaning towel for each guest stay, specially in this covid time. We had many experiences of holiday rentals, it is a very basic standard to have new cleaning sponge and cleaning towel when enter the house. 3. no basic suppliers like salt, washing powder for the washing machine. Although, the guest can buy these themselves, but if one stays just for 2-3 days, it makes no sense to spend time to buy these. A small gesture of some basic daily suppliers like the above, will make our stay more pleasant. In other rentals, all these are taking care of. 4. when checking in, the staff told me that the bed is a king-size bed, but it turned out to be two single beds with one sheet covered, there is a bit split between the beds, and made the sleep of two of us very uncomfortable. If we knew of it, we would preferred a smaller double bed with no split in between. If these are not improved, we don't feel like recommend to others to rent from Madeira Sun Travel, and difficult for us to rent again from it. Other than the above, the hardware of the facility and house is fine.
