To start with Bumble Lodge is located on an award winning holiday park. Rated 5* by AA and a member of the Premier Parks and Best of British Directories of the top ranked holiday parks in the UK.
A great base for exploring the great outdoors and finding freedom in the forest.
Step out of the gate at the bottom of the park and be greeted by the native New Forest ponies, ducks, geese and owls. You might even spot deer coming for a drink in the lake!
There are a range of seasonal activities and all the amenities youâll need including a pizzeria and cafĂ© bar and park shop. With nature right on the doorstep, youâll be in the perfect place to relax and unwind.
The facilities on the park are available from April until October, although the Lodge is still available to book all year round.
The park is located in a quiet area of woodland and grassland away from the road, yet is easily accessible avoiding the busy roads and towns in the centre of the forest.
There are a range of on park activities, such as Mountain Bike hire, Archery, Segway Tours, target shooting and many more. There is also a fishing lake, stocked with a variety of fish, including Carp.
The outdoor communal fire pit is a hit for adults and children to cosy around and toast giant marshmallows.

'BUMBLE LODGE'
On entering the Lodge, the beautifully decorated hallway will provide plenty of space to remove shoes and hang up coats before entering the large open plan kitchen and living room area.
The kitchen itself includes all the amenities you will need for a relaxing stay - whether you decide to eat in or eat out and is equipped with a gas oven and microwave. (Tea, Coffee and Sugar provided). There is a washing machine/dryer should you wish to use them, as well as a dishwasher (tablets for both included). The space provided is very comfortable for a party of 4 to dine in.
The living room area includes a Smart TV and an in-built bluetooth sound system and games are provided. With 2 comfortable sofas you can just sit back and relax.
There is also free WIFI.
The patio doors lead onto a large decking area, which wraps around the lodge. There is patio furniture provided for you to enjoy a drink - or a meal - outside - if the weather is kind!
The master bedroom has a king size bed and an en-suite fully equipped shower room with a heated towel rail.
The 2nd bedroom has twin beds and a separate shower room is across the hallway, also with a heated towel rail.
Bedlinen and towels are provided at no extra cost.
There is a travel cot and a high chair for you to use if you need it â free of charge (please request on booking).

If you fancy going a little further afield, the stunning cathedral city of Salisbury is only 20 minutes away and not far from there are the iconic Neolithic stones of Stonehenge. If you long for a sandy beach and some fresh sea air, the sandy beaches of Hengistbury Head and Bournemouth are little over half an hours drive away.
You do not have to stray far to enjoy some wonderful walks within the natural beauty with its abundance of free roaming animals, together with other wonderful places to explore, including the local historic towns and other villages dotted along the Hampshire and Dorset Coast.

Dogs are allowed at a surcharge of ÂŁ20 but are limited to a medium sized or 2 small dogs due to space.

Neighbourhood highlights
With its remarkable range of plants and animals, ancient tradition of commoning, varied history and distinctive local communities, the New Forest National Park is unique. The landscape of the New Forest National Park is beautiful, rare and fragile.
The Park also boasts 26 miles of lesser known but very important coastline, around 1,000 ancient trees and the most extensive area of heathland remaining in Europe, as well as clean air and a sense of wildness that is hard to find. There are many miles of crystal clear streams, rivers and ponds. This special environment inspires local food, drink and crafts of the highest quality.
Finally, the New Forest is one of the most intact networks of wetland habitat in Western Europe. Its mires, bogs, ponds, rivers and streams are one of the Forest's most precious qualities, a key reason why the area was designated a National Park.
Getting around
There is free parking next to the lodge on site. Everything you need is within easy reach. There are local pubs to either walk to or drive. There is a shop onsite and even a bus stop just outside the park. Embraced in the Forest but still within easy reach of the Motorway which can take you to the sights close by.
