This luxurious 2nd Floor apartment is situated in a Grade II listed building! With stunning views of York Minster and the ancient city walls, this one bed apartment is perfectly suited for a city break and even comes with free parking! Located in the centre of York, this home away from home has been decorated and finished to the highest standard to ensure your York adventure is perfect!
Feversham House is a beautifully restored Georgian House dating back to 1901, originally built as a nurses quarter for the County Hospital.
Being a Grade II listed building the communal interiors are grand and retain many of its original charming features. Sweeping wooden bannisters lead you up the stairs, where you'll find my apartment located on the top floor.
Once inside my apartment, the shower room is to the left, and right of the entrance hall leads to the living area. Cool shades of grey are used to decorate throughout, with accents of colour in each room. Located on the south facing side of the building, the living room, bedroom and kitchen all have a bright light feel.
In the living dining room, there's a large comfy sofa. Opposite is a wall mounted Smart TV and an electric feature fireplace. The window next to the dining table and chairs frame a picturesque view onto the City Bar Walls and York Minster. Heating is controlled by electric thermostatic heaters in the living room and bedroom.
The bedroom is accessed via the living quarters. There's a feature wall behind the king size bed, and a double mirrored wardrobe for guest storage. We provide fresh white bedding and towels (hand towel and bath towel per person) as well as miniature travel sized bottles of shampoo, shower gel and soap.
The kitchen is separate and is also accessed off the living room. Here you will have use of a fridge freezer, washer dryer, induction hob, oven, microwave, kettle and toaster. There's a nice addition of a breakfast table and two chairs where you can have a relaxed breakfast, whilst you plan your day ahead. There will be some complimentary tea/coffee in my apartment (sorry, no coffee machine). I hope this will be useful for those arriving after a long journey! If wish to purchase more supplies for your stay there is a large Sainsbury's supermarket just across the car park.
The newly fitted bathroom consists of a generously sized double shower, sink cabinet unit and toilet.
To the front of the building is the delightful walled and gated garden which can be enjoyed by residents staying in Feversham House. Parking is free and in an on-site car park. My property management team will send further instructions for parking before your check in.
The property is professionally cleaned and the linen/ towels are replaced with freshly laundered supplies between each stay. We offer remote access with easy self check-in and 24/7 guest support should you need any assistance during your stay.
Guests will have access to the entire apartment. Entrance is via a communal door. There is one allocated parking space in the car park which I ask respectfully, is only used within your stay. Please do not use the car parking space before your check in or after your check out. If you contact my property management team they might be able to accommodate your request, depending on when my cleaners are booked in.
Other things to note
CHECK IN / CHECK OUT
Check-in time is after 3pm and check-out time is before 11am. A £30 charge will be requested if guests check themselves in early without permission or if guests do not check out on time as this will cause disruption to my cleaner’s schedule.
Please note that you will be charged £100 for lost keys, so please be careful with them.
PARKING
There is ample parking, the apartment has its own dedicated spot, which to be honest is quite tight and is suitable for a small/medium sized car. We have the use of the visitor parking in case you have a larger vehicle, or if you just prefer the additional space (which is located on the left as you drive in to the building).
TRAVEL COT
A travel cot and mattress are available to borrow upon request, subject to availability, and at an additional cost of £20. Please ensure you message before hand so that I can arrange for the installation. Guests will need to bring their own cot bedding, including a bottom sheet. (I am afraid highchair requests cannot be met).

The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.
Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
