Southwold has a wide range of great shops, cafĂ©s, delis, pubs and restaurants within stumbling distance. so youâre spoilt for choice when it comes to dining. Alternatively, visit one of the independent grocers, bakers and butchers and cook up a storm.
A visit to Southwold wouldnât be complete without heading off to the pier; dating back to the 1900âs, this was originally built as a landing point for the steamships which use to stop off at the town. You can also visit the lighthouse - this is a distinctive landmark at the centre of the town and has been guiding vessels into the historical harbour since the late 1800âs. A great location for nature lovers and twitchers, just a 25-minute drive to RSPB Minsmere where you can discover some of the UKâs rarest wildlife and enjoy family-friendly activities.
