Nestled on the side of a mountain in southern Crete, Galini Luxury Homes offer a mix of modern amenities and natural environment with tremendous views of Libyan sea and surrounding mountains. Galini Luxury Homes is consisted of two semi-detached, stone made villas are located in a peaceful area where beaches with crystal blue waters are found nearby. Furnished in minimal style, Galini Luxury Homes are a relaxing retreat where you can enjoy tranquillity and comfort.

Galini Luxury Home 1 covers 115 sq. m. and spreads in two levels. The residence can accommodate up to 4 guests in its 2 bedrooms and up to 6 if necessary. The villa combines traditional style, a peaceful atmosphere and modern amenities for restful holidays, perfect for families with children or a group of friends!

Indoor Layout

Ground Floor

Entering the villa on the ground floor there is a spacious open plan area consisting of the living room with a large sofa, a fireplace, a 55" satellite HDTV, Apple TV, Netflix, an indoor dining area and a fully equipped kitchen of top quality fixtures and appliances. Folding the large doors in the living room area helps linking the interior with the relaxing outdoor area which features swimming pool and dining area. The ground floor also hosts a bathroom with shower and washing machine.

First Floor

Reaching to the first floor through a staircase guests can find the 2 bedrooms of the Villa, one with a king size bed (1,60 X 2,00) and the other one with 2 single beds (which can also be joined together to form a queen size bed, 1,80 X 2,00). Both bedrooms have air-condition, 32" HDTVs, closet and small balcony. A bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath and shower is also found on the same floor.

Outdoor area

The delightful 80m2 outdoor area of Galini Luxury Home 1 boasts exceptional sea and mountain views and offers a variety of facilities and spots for relaxation, which include:

- A 15 sq. m. private swimming pool with comfortable sun beds

- Fully equipped gas barbecue facilities

- Outdoor siting area

- Parking space for 1 car

Es ist eine liebevoll eingerichtete DoppelhaushĂ€lfte. Die Sauberkeit des Hauses war so lala - Haare waren noch im Waschbecken und der obere Abfluss im oberen Bad hat irgendwie gerochen. Das war aber kein Problem, weil uns das Bad im Erdgeschoss vollkommen ausgereicht hat. Der Pool ist nicht sehr groß aber fĂŒr uns war er ausreichend groß. Zu erwĂ€hnen ist allerdings, dass dieser eher kĂŒhl gehalten ist (fĂŒr unsere Kids (8 und 10) zu kalt. Da es bei uns aber 35 Grad plus hatte empfanden wir Erwachsene das aber als gute Erfrischung. Die Lage ist gut! Man hat einen tollen Blick aufs Meer gerade zur Abendstunde. Da das Haus im SĂŒden liegt ist aber zu erwĂ€hnen, dass es bei uns extrem windig war (Böen bis 70 km/h) was dort normal zu sein scheint. In der Nacht hat man bei diesen Winden oft das GefĂŒhl, dass das Dach bald wegfliegt (was aber nicht geschehen ist). Schlafen war da leider „schwierig“. Da wir Kreta jedoch kannten und wir uns ĂŒber die Lage bewusst waren, wussten wir in etwa wie es sein kann. Wir wollten allerdings nicht in den Touristenzentren campieren und dafĂŒr war das perfekt fĂŒr uns! Nebeneffekt davon ist allerdings, dass man doch relativ weite Fahrtstrecken hat bis zum nĂ€chsten Supermarkt!
