Overview
Villa Alicia is located in Porto Colom, Mallorca. This semi-detached
vacation rental property offers air-conditioning, Free Wi-Fi and sleeps
up to 8 people with 4 Bedrooms and 3 Bathrooms. There is a private pool
(South-West Facing) with barbecue. Walking distance to the Beach and
Restaurants.
Layout

Alicia is a spacious two-storey villa. On the ground floor, there is a
kitchen with access to furnished terrace. The living/dining room has
also access to a small terrace with pool views. On this floor there is
a double bedroom and a family bathroom with shower room. There is also
a utility room. On the first floor, there are 3 bedrooms (two twin and
a double) and two family bathrooms with baths.
Villa Alicia has air-conditioning in all the bedrooms. It has a timer
from 14:00 to 16:00 and from 21:00 to 06:00

Living Room
The living room has a ornamental fireplace, dining area, comfortable
sofas, Satellite TV and Free Wi-Fi. There are patio doors to the pool
terrace.

Kitchen
The kitchen features a toaster, coffee maker, granite work top, washing
machine, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, stove/hob and oven. There
is also a barbecue outside.

A getaway with friends

This is a lovely property about a 15 minutes walk to the town where there are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. My only complaint is that the pool could do with a clean around the steps into the pool as they were a bit green and slimey underneath, and also the garden furniture wasn't very good quality. Apart from these two things we would definitely recommend Villa Alicia.

Lovely House in quiet neighbourhood

Enjoyed our stay as an adult group which worked well with the 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Night time air conditioning was much appreciated. Plenty of seating areas inside and out although no shade in the middle of the day. Evening meals on the terrace were lovely with a nice breeze some evenings. Well equipped kitchen with lots of plates, cups and glasses for the group and large pans and serving dishes for a bigger group. Good fridge and freezer. Coffee machine and kettle were rather small for 6 people. Nice pool area with comfortable sun beds. Pool did start to go a little green towards the end of our stay. Porto Collom port and Cala Marcella beach both about a mile walk away taking the footpath which runs by the house. Both lovely areas with lots of bars and restaurants. Supermarket half a mile away open all day. Our first time in this area of Majorca and will be back. Quieter and great beaches

Disappointing

Villa Alicia was not cleaned properly, crockery and cutlery dirty. Floors gritty. Window coverings in bedrooms broken or missing. Downstairs toilet didn’t flush. Steps outside broken and unsafe. It is a shame as the villa could be lovely and the location is ok if you don’t mind walking 10 to 15 minutes to supermarket or 25 mins to restaurants although there is one nice restaurant only 5 mins walk away. We didn’t let this spoil our holiday but would not recommend Villa Alicia in it’s current state.

Great Holiday House

We really enjoyed our stay here for our 2 families to vacation and catch up together. The house was very big and planty of room for 7 people with 3 Bathrooms. We loved the pool! It saved us from the extreme heat there in July. This is a big issue when coming to Mallorca. The AC had hours of opperation limitation which really affected us and had we known we might not have chosen to stay here. When booking this house, it listed as having air conditioning, but you could only turn it on from 2 to 4 PM and 9pm to 6 AM. I understand how extremely expensive it is to run air conditioning in the extreme heat, but we really needed it during that time. I wished I would have known this in advance when booking. The only other problem was that we did not have enough towels for our group, and when calling the management company to ask for more, they Promised they would deliver them but never did. Overall a very nice place to stay though and the patio had a large table with plenty of chairs to sit outside and talk and enjoy the evening.

Good Villa needing some TLC & better pool maintenance.

The check-in process was very easy. The owner kindly granted a slightly earlier check-in time. The Villa was clean although not cleaned during week. Some furniture shown in photos removed or broken. Bedrooms were sparse - Beds average. That said kitchen well stocked with alliances. Below the Villa was an apartment - dogs roamed free. Generally friendly - barked at passes by but not us - not great at returning the odd wayward ball from pool games! The Villa - 25mins walk to beach - supermarkets 10mins away. There was a cut-through next to the Villa - shaved off 5 mins - you needed to be live to the local dogs No2s. Notes advising shutters/doors be locked when out of rooms. However a number couldn't be. There was a safe however we couldn't open/reset it. Most mosquito nets damaged. The A/C was time set 9pm to 6am. The A/C was good when on. An extra hr either side would have been appreciated in mid summer. Maybe bigger issue for families with younger children. The major issue was the pool. It was a good size/2m + at the deep end. Our teenagers loved it. However there was no sign of pool maintenance/cleaning during the week - by day 5 the water had a green tint. By day 6 we couldn't see bottom at the deep end with algae clearly evident on steps. Swimming instructor in our group said its wasn't safe to swim by day 6. Contacted the prop manager and sent photos. Helpdesk responded however no action taken despite chasers. No response afterwards from owner/prop manager.

Wonderful pool

We loved our stay at the villa, the pool is just perfect and there are lots of social areas to enjoy the sun or if you want a bit of shade. There did seem to be a shortcut available on Google to walk to the shops and harbor but it looks like a property has been built over that shortcut so no longer available which means it may take a little longer to walk, which was fine with us but if you're going to the shops a cab/car is recommended.

The location and the villa are perfect for a quiet relaxed holiday. Enough far from the crowd places but still near to almost everything: local places to visit, restaurants, tavernas, bars...You need only a 15-minute walk to the harbor of Porto Colom and to a wide selection of bars, cafes restaurants, and shops. The location is also excellent for exploring other places and the local area. Within only a 10-15 minute drive you can reach Cala dOr and Porto Cristo where you can enjoy their local amenities, beaches, shops, restaurants... We tried great Spanish specialties (Paella, Gazpacho...) there. Most of the time we enjoyed at Platja de Cala Mar?al beach and entrained ourselves with different activities: relaxing, sunbathing, swimming, snorkeling, etc. We found the people of Porto Colom very friendly and the local food tasty. We also liked their local wines, you have to try them while you are there. Do not hesitate to book this place and villa.

We have just returned from an excellent and very relaxing holiday at Villa Alicia. The Villa is very comfortable. Air Conditioning in all rooms, well-equipped kitchen, utility rooms, and great pool area outside. Most of the time we spend at the terrace and enjoyed a nice time there: having meals, playing cards, enjoying gatherings with our friends...The pool was the lovely and perfect temperature in July... There are nice restaurants, bars, and shops within a short walking distance. We tried nice tasty local food there and found the people of Porto Colom and Mallorca very friendly and hospitable. A nice relaxed holiday overall. Already re-booked Villa Alicia for the next year.

Villa Alicia have everything we want and we are glad that we spent our holiday there. The villa have 4 very cozy rooms and a great outside area with a nice pool, patio, and terrace. Lovely to sit out and relax with a glass of wine. Everything is almost in the vicinity of walking distance... beach, restaurants, bars, but still in a calm neighborhood. Mallorca has become one of my favorite travel destinations. Highly recommend this villa and company!

We had a wonderful time in Mallorca - it is truly an idyllically beautiful island with stunning turquoise seas white cliffs, olive groves, and a host of excellent restaurants. We stayed in the Villa Alicia which was clean comfortable and cozy and has everything you need for a 2 weeks holiday at a reasonable price. Situated in the heart of Porto Colom it takes only a short walk to get to almost everything: supermarkets, tavernas, bars...We loved alternating days between exploring different places and beaches and having relaxing days at the villa. While there we visited Cala dOr, Manacor, and Cales de Mallorca a couple of times. Nice places with lots of restaurants and tasty local specialties. Most of our time we spend at Platja de Cala Marcal and Cala Domingos beach where we enjoyed tasting local food, drinking some of the local wines, swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling, etc. Overall nice holiday for us and we will be returning again.

The property was within walking distance to almost everything: beach, restaurants, bars, shops... Lovely walk along the coast of Porto Colom and great restaurants around the marina. If you want a beach holiday, everything you need is here, but if you have a car youre within easy reach of many other resorts to the north and south of the island. Agnis service was perfect. We couldnt have asked for a higher level of service. From the booking through the end of our vacation, everything went flawlessly. I would highly recommend this property, and I would most certainly return again.

We immediately feel relaxed when we get there. My family loved it. We really enjoyed the outdoor spaces both around the BBQ, pool and on the terrace. Set in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood villa with lots of supermarkets within easy reach, and within walking distance to the center of Porto Colom. We enjoyed at beach Platja De Cala Marcal, a nice sandy beach with plenty of local tavernas to relax after sunbathing, swimming, snorkeling, etc. We intend to return again to this place next year.

The villa was lovely. Just the break we needed. We immediately feel relaxed when we get there. Its a short drive to the beach and within walking distance to tavernas, restaurants, and stores. Portocolomo is a quiet place with nice friendly people always willing to help you with anything you ask (food recommendations, local places to visit, etc,). Will definitely be staying at this villa again, hopefully very soon.

We were a party of 5 adults and there was plenty of room and found the villa to be well equipped and modern. Fabulous outdoor space with good umbrellas & sunbeds. We used our time effectively for the shops and other amenities were within our reach. Perfect location!!! We went back home being very satisfied.

I would definitely go back there and would have no hesitation in recommending this villa to friends and family. The villa itself is very comfortable and spacious with a lovely big garden and swimming pool big enough both for kids and adults.All perfect!!
