The house known as the Chardonneret, is a pretty semi detached four bedroom property converted from an former tobacco barn, dating back some 200 years. The house has retained its beams and honey coloured stone walls throughout but offers the modern comforts of home.
The Chardonneret offers accommodation over two floors.
• Ground floor
This offers an open plan living space with kitchen dining and living areas ideal for relaxation and entertainment along with two shower/ toilet rooms.
*The kitchen has a gas cooker/ fridge/dishwasher/ microwave /kettle and coffee maker along with crockery and cooking utensils.A payable washing machine is available communally
*The living area has two sofas and two armchairs and the dining area has a large oak table and chairs. Television and dvd available for those quieter moments.
*There are 2 shower rooms
A staircase leads to the first floor where there
are 4 bedrooms
• a double room
• a smaller double room
• a bunk room Please note that the top bunk is
not ideal for adults
• a twin room

We are an English couple who moved to this beautiful area of France in 2004 with our then 4 small children. We consider it an honour to be part of such a wonderful community.

This property with its high elevation on the edge of a beautiful tranquil village captured our hearts at first sight and even 19 years later our love for the area continues to grow
Our property is ideally situated in the beautiful french countryside but close to all the attractions of the Dordogne valley. We are within half an hour of the areas beautiful towns of Sarlat, Rocamadour, Beynac and Domme, the castles of the Hundred years War and the numerous caves. We are a mere 5 minutes from the Dordogne river with all its water sports and cycling paths. Closest amenities are just a 5 minute drive away and a superb restaurant and bar just a 5 minute walk.
Set high on a hill, there are beautiful walks around the village and a feeling of having stepped away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Tennis and golf courses all available within 10 minute drive
Our property is ideally situated in the beautiful french countryside but close to all the attractions of the Dordogne valley.
