Steg in på den v��lkomnande wrap-around veranda och in i denna traditionella planlösning hem. Du gläds omedelbart av de glittrande trägolv och elegant utrustade öppen planlösning. Vardagsrummet har bekväma sittplatser med öppen spis och myriader av f��nster. Den intilliggande matsalen är f��rankrad av ett bord som bekvämt ger plats f��r åtta men rymmer tio. Kolla in skalkronan - det ��r fantastiskt!

Utanför matsalen är frukostbaren med plats för fyra. Det intilliggande gourmetköket har bänkskivor i granit, rostfria vitvaror och gott om prep-utrymme som rymmer flera kockar. Bara n��gra steg bort ��r skärmen veranda som ger ett annat samlingsomr��de och ett extra matalternativ. Slutligen, bortom det ��r en lugn uteplats med ännu ett bord för utomhusfester.

Det stora sovrummet, som ligger på huvudnivån, är perfekt f��r folk som vill ha privatliv, men vill minimera stegen. Den har en king size-s��ng och ett spa-liknande badkar med dusch, badkar och hans och hennes handfat. Bottenvåningen erbjuder också ett drottning sovrum med eget badrum / dusch.

P�� överv��ningen finns tre ytterligare sovrum. Den andra master sviten har en king size-säng med eget badrum. Det finns ocks�� ett drottning sovrum och ett sovrum med två enkelsängar. July 2023 Stay

This was our 11th year on baldhead island. This is definitely one of the top two houses. Everything was very well-maintained, organized, stocked, comfortable beds, lights labeled, etc. etc. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The only thing I would consider is some extra drawers in the twin bedroom, since there’s nowhere to put your clothes. Other than that - perfect.

Best Family Vacation

The house was great and suited our needs perfectly. Loved having the two golf carts. If there was a negative it was only that the bed in the beautiful master bedroom was too big for my husband to get into! This was one of the best houses we have stayed in. Exactly as advertised.

July 2019 Stay

We have had a wonderful week. Colonel's Cottage is beautiful. Nicest beach property I have ever rented. Extremely clean, well stocked kitchen. Quick access to the beach. Loved watching the birds in the back yard. Wendy Wilmot Properties a delight to work with. I felt well taken care of and the communication was wonderful. Love Bald Head Island, so beautiful. Enjoyed the spa, grocery store well stocked. My family has already decided we want to come back next year and we want to stay in the same house.

A Big Fun House

There were 8 of us and had plenty of room to gather for meals and play games or go off to relax on ones own. The beach, pools, market, restaurants were minuets away. The house was well stocked in the kitchen and had convenient beach chairs and other accessories Several of us biked daily. The area was very, very quiet, just lovely. We would say we were all very satisfied with this well kept house and the support of the management company.

Colonels Cottage in June

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was nicer than we expected from the pictures and was a good floor plan for our family. We enjoyed the porches and second living area. We would have liked to have had more towels in the unit and the brakes on one of the golf carts were not good at all. Overall it’s a nice rental in the forest with lovely porches and plenty of bikes for the whole family. The property is in need of a good power washing and some unsafe boards sticking up in the walkway outside, but we are mindful that it’s an island that has recently weathered a storm and repairs may be behind a little.

There was plenty of room with 5 bedrooms & we loved the porches. we were thrilled to watch the Painted Buntings from the rear porch,(our 1st sightings of these beautiful birds), as well as several deer in the rear yard. The grandkids loved it. The location was very convenient to the market, marina & restaurants & the Bald Head Club's new water park. Wendy Wilmot Properties were so helpful & quick to provide anything we needed.

Thanksgiving Retreat

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Colonel's Cottage is simply delightful! Stepping inside feels like home. Clean and conveniently located to the BHI club and shopping. We enjoyed watching the deer pass through from the screened porch. The kitchen contains everything you need for preparing family meals. The Maritime Market offers prepared Family Meals which we chose to take advantage of one night. Our grandkids enjoyed the books, puzzles and bikes provided. The adults appreciated the comfortable beds as the mattresses were better than others. We have rented through Wendy Wilmot several times. They have never failed to respond to any email within 24 hours or phone call within the hour. Treat yourself to a lovely retreat. Colonel's Cottage is simply delightful!

Lovely Experience!
