A beautiful Georgian property located on Deal's stunning sea front. It oozes charm and period features. Enjoy sitting in front of the fire in winter or drinking wine in the pretty courtyard garden or reading your book on the roof terrace, amongst the iconic rooftops of Deal's old town.
The property is full of original Georgian features, including handprinted seascapes on the main staircase, large open Georgian fire place- perfect for snuggling up in front of, hand painted glass doors, old smugglers hiding hatches and a kitchen which is thought to be housed in what was an old smoke house. If you want a stunning property, right on the seafront steeped in history then look no further.
We love the location of this property right on the seafront -so seaviews from 4 out of the 5 bedrooms and the lounge. We love the fact that there is a separate dining room which is so quirky it feels like being inside a ship. You can take your morning cuppa onto the beach and decamp for long lazy days to the beach but with the advantage of having all of the amenities of a house opposite.
Fabulous walks on your doorstep and located right in the conservation area you have everything you need within walking distance.

Welcome to Otters Hatch - this is a very old Georgian townhouse. I do not live in Deal so there is a key lock in place and you can let yourselves in. I will provide you with details about Deal and the house before your stay
Varför värden valde detta boende
I love waking up in the master bedroom, you can live in bed, open the curtains and see the sea. I also sitting amongst the roof tops of Deal on the roof terrace with a glass of vino with seagulls soaring overhead.
We have tired to keep with period colours and colours that bring the seascape indoors.
Deal to me, is just as wonderful in the Winter as the summer, it is great to have the open fire on when it is wild outside and the sea is stormy.

The property is located on the seafront which is lovely. It is full of original period features - Georgian fireplaces, an amazing painted Georgian ships uncovered above the staircase during renovations, smugglers hatches in the floor leading to a basement - a nod to Deal's smuggling past.
