Hayling Island, is one of Hampshireâs best loved places for a family escape there really is something for everyone. The Hayling Billy Coastal Path used by walkers, cyclists and horse riders is along the bed of an old railway line between Havant and Hayling Island. Further along the coast is Funland Amusement Park, the Seaside Railway plus beach front restaurants.
Windsurfing was invented on Hayling Island, and it is also renowned for its great sailing and nautical activity including kayaking, power boating, jet ski-ing, kitesurfing and water boarding. Windsurfing and paddle board lessons are available in the town. There is also the sailing club, golf course, tea rooms, bakery and typical seaside shops.
