Bramble Cottage is a delightful and cosy little terraced cottage set quietly just off the main street of the lovely small market town of Brampton. Bramble Cottage has been completely renovated in 2022 and is beautifully decorated from the cosy living room to the relaxing and peaceful bedroom. There is a contemporary bathroom on the first floor and the compact kitchen has everything you will need to cook up a romantic meal.
From your cosy little haven at Bramble Cottage you really are in the heart of the town yet just off the main street so the perfect location for exploring the town where there are a variety of quaint little shops and some excellent restaurants and pubs to choose from. Brampton is ideally placed to enjoy the many attractions close by, none more so than the iconic Hadrian’s Wall.Within a few miles from Bramble Cottage you can walk stretches of the wall and enjoy reading the history along the way. Just 2 miles from Brampton, visit Talkin Tarn Country Park with its 65-acre lake set amid 120 acres of farmland and woodland, the ideal place to enjoy a walk or even try your hand at some boating on the lake. The beautiful border city of Carlisle is a short 20-minute drive away where you can visit the castle or just take in some retail therapy at some of the high street shops. Further afield, visit the delights of the Lake District National Park or cross the border for a scenic drive into Scotland.

Bramble Cottage is a well equiped property, very conveniently situated close to the centre of the town. The kitchen and cupboard space is a bit on the small side, though satisfactory for two people. There are excellent food shops just minutes walk into town, so food can easily be bought daily, reducing the need to stock-up with food in advance.

A lovely clean and comfortable cottage ideally situated for visiting Hadrian's Wall. Convenient parking space just to rear of the cottage and a useful information folder about the cottage and local area supplied by the owners. And to top it all we had warm sunny weather. So a wonderful holiday. Thanks.
